"I joined Connecting Country where I gained indispensable knowledge regarding the local flora and fauna," said Carol. "From there I started to plant trees. There was a lack of middle story vegetation in particular and all plantings had to be done with a crowbar due to the lack of topsoil. "I am still planting. "Over many years I built up what soil existed into a thriving vegetable patch to sustain my family. In our Roadmap to Carbon Neutrality 2020-2025, we committed to converting to 100% renewable electricity for our operations. We joined the Victorian Energy Collaboration (VECO) on 1 January 2022, and achieved 98% renewable electricity. The last 2% required some further work, but in December 2023 we happily achieved 100%.
