We upgraded to the table service dining plan as we wanted character meals. This was what we had left 3 days before we left 🙈 it was so much food . FLAME TREE BBQ!🔥 Lunch (number 1) time for us was an absolute belter! We used 2 snack credits! Yes snack credits! This was so cheap and cost around $11 or something and it was more than enough to share and tide us over until a little later (I think we spent a lot of our day eating and drinking but hey what are holidays for!) We originally just went for the pulled pork bbq fries 🤤 as we had heard such great things about them and just decided at the time to get some onion rings too! The portions were great and we never thought we’d get that much for a snack! The onion rings were amazing, defo the best onion rings I’ve ever had! They were really crispy! Just how we like them and they were lovely and hot and not too greasy! The fries were incredible!! Defo lives up to the hype, I actually think they have been taken off the menu right now which is a travesty! The fries are topped with the most gorgeous soft and juicy pulled pork, bbq sauce and plastic cheese (as @disneyfoodblog would say) we also got 2 pots of bbq sauce from the self serve area, a sweet and sticky one and a spicy one! Good morning and Happy Monday 💛🌞 Hope everyone is well 🤗🤗 I've been a little quiet on here recently, battling some of my own deamons... Just to top it off, I had an email from Disney refunding our Disney Dining Plan for November 2021. Part of the email reads: "As a result of physical distancing, capacity in restaurants and availability of dining experiences are very limited and certain experiences such as Character dining cannot be provided. Because of this, we have also made the difficult decision to cancel and temporarily no longer offer Disney Dining Plans. We recognise the inconvenience this poses and we’re deeply sorry." Soooo, we are presuming that there will be no DDP for all of 2021... I totally understand why but man does it suck! As a family of 6 it's costing us so much to actually get there and stay on property and now the added cost for food for 6 people for 2 weeks 😳😱... The Quick service DDP cost us roughly £2900 to add on. Which sounds a lot but all your food for 6 people for 2 weeks is a pretty good price... We can easily double that if we have to pay for food out there... Arrrggghhh so ready for this world to get back to normal now. Sorry for the rant.
