Happy Hump day 🐫🐪🐫 . Today was my day off but Barry decided to take a cheeky holiday too 😊 we went for a wander around a nursery in Gateshead, I bought more gladioli to squeeze into spots on the allotment 💐😍 then called to @elmtreefarm (again 😂😍) and bought a Golden Creeping Jenny Plant for next to the pond (all the plants I've looked for are attractive to pollinators 🐝🐞🪲 including this one 💚) and a few more herbs 🌿🌿🌿 purple sage, garlic chives, another sage I can't remember off the top of my head 😂 and lemon verbena (oh my word does lemon verbena smell beautiful 🌿🍋) I have plans to use it in herbal tea when it's bigger🍵🤞 . Made a little friend today 🐞 and I told him/her that their friends are also always welcome on our plot 😁🐞😂 . Barry has almost finished building the cage he decided to build to protect the veg in that section from the likes of white cabbage butterflies 🦋 (so pretty but I soon was told they aren't a friend of vegetable growers 😱😂) we've planted all the marigolds we bought the other day 🏵️ and planted more broad beans in the same row as the few autumn ones we planted last year 🫘 pic of beautiful broad beans flowers included 😁😍 and because I'm absolutely loving all the flowers ony apple trees a pic of one of them too 🌸🌸🌸 .
