Перенося на улицы столицы, пропуская импульсы сквозь нейроны мозга. Krec - легендарная питерская группа. Когда-то задевшая меня за душу своей доброй грустью. Сейчас в лице Фьюза, одного из самых техничных рэперов страны, с уникальным флоу - тяжеловес! Вклад которого в жанр колоссален, а за плечами весомый бэкграунд. Продолжает удивлять новыми треками и коллаборациями. DJ Nik One - один из лучших в жанре, он невероятно талантливый музыкант, продюсер, битмейкер и ди-джей. Он привнес в жанр фирменное звучание, показал, что такое крутые сэты, что такое настоящие микстейпы и жирный продакшн. Для меня Nik One - русский J Dilla и DJ Premier. Практически все наши хип-хоп исполнители с ним сотрудничали. Респект за офигительное музло и пиздатый вкус. Альбом пропитан особой атмосферой, это отслеживается в каждом треке. Пластинка зарождалась в Москве, для этого Фьюз специально приехал из Питера, чтобы пропитаться духом города и вдохновиться им для написания своих текстов. Такой творческий процесс, придал особый шарм релизу. Мне безумно нравится звук на этом альбоме, коллажи старых синтезаторов буквально в каждом треке, немного фанкового привкуса под крутое битло, сотворяет истинную магию. Пластинка «Москва-1» невероятно крутая и целостная. Многогранный посыл под острым соусом сальса, в идеальном сочетании с музлом, приправленным охуенными специями. Каждый раз чувствую жир в колонках, футуристический звук из прошлого и жужжание добротных старых синтезаторов, которые переносят меня в другое измерение. Как гребанный «Терминатор», которого откинуло в прошлое. Ты будто окунаешься в происходящие события, описанные автором. Как я уже говорил, футуристический звук из прошлого. This is the One! . The Stone Roses - Stone Roses (1989) . Well this was a fabulous weekend for #vinylthroughyourage hitting 56 in 2016. Not only was it the birthday but Father’s Day on the Sunday. So we drove to Manchester for the Friday night and did the return journey back to the SW circa 4-5 hours due to midnight road works! Slept the majority of the Saturday and the drove back to Manchester early the Sunday, this time with a hotel wrapped in. Several hours in the Northern Quarter with those hospitable northern folk.. and the gig, this time in the pit up front and personal . Vinyl of the day! Cloud Nothings “Final Summer” Limited 500 copies Orange & White Aside/Bside w/ Silver Splatter Always happy to hear new music from Cloud Nothings! They have an Indie Punk, Post Punk, Indie Rock vibe. I became a fan back in 2012 w/ the release of “Attack On Memory”, which was voted best 100 albums of the decade! Then came “Here & Nowhere Else” which was also a straight up killer album! Same with “Life Without Sound” although a more polished album imo. Moving on to the new/current album “Final Summer”, it’s also a little more polished w/ better production, similar to “Life Without Sound” or their last album, which shares something in common, as both of the recent albums include iconic producer/engineer Steve Albini, who’s been involved in working w/ some of the industry’s best bands/albums, such as Nirvana, Pixies, etc. To clarify, however, so there’s no misunderstandings, my verbiage which uses the description “more polished” to reference Cloud Nothings production is NOT a slight in the least! In fact, I enjoy the production of the Albini albums & imo Cloud Nothings appear quite intelligent, perceptive, & well aware to use him again. Despite the improved production, Dylan Baldi (singer, songwriter, & guitarist) still brings the angst & energy! Cloud Nothings is a band that I not only like a lot! But I’m deeply rooting for them! I’ve seen too many great bands w/ talent appear to be “breaking through”, establishing a great audience, excellent albums & tours, only to somehow just seemingly fall apart? So aside from the music being really good/great, the Ohio band is one to root for! I’m gonna try to see them live in Philly on May 8th but the problem is it’s a Wednesday w/ long travel, but nonetheless, if anyone’s going, message me, I’m considering attending if I can work things out. I’d love to see them, as it would be a first for me. Lastly, just want to mention the artwork & vinyl. The pressing is gorgeous & I love its appearance! But the artwork is up my alley too! Well done!
