So I went to @tulleystulips 🌷 yesterday with my besties and to be honest we didn’t love it! Here’s what I’ll say… We went on the very last session at the end of the few weeks it was open. We were late to the party. By the time I’d made the decision to give it a go, it was fully booked and that was the only session I could get. And naively, I didn’t think I’d be paying £15 a ticket to see past best tulips so we gave it a go! In reality it was very busy. Again naively, I wasn’t quite expecting that amount of people, and it was a rather sorry sight for the tulips which had seen way better days! There were lots of families there and lots of cute photo opps but I’m glad I didn’t take the kids as there wasn’t really much for them to do there (other than roast marshmallows). So unless you are deliberately going for the photos, I probably wouldn’t bother taking them. I loved the live roaming musicians and the Dutch Pancakes were nice, I had mine covered with melted white & milk chocolate 😍 Here are some of my thoughts & tips for anyone thinking about visiting next year: - Book early and go as early as possible in the season - Try and go on a weekday if possible, or a time it might be less busy - Go prepared for muddy, especially if it has been raining - You can take dogs but you must be very careful they do not try to eat the tulips as they will irritate their stomach Have you been to @tulleystulips this year? Einmal Dino- Abenteuer gefällig?! Ich kann euch diesen Park echt nur empfehlen. Einfach mit Liebe gemacht, das merkt man an jeder Ecke. Man läuft durch den Wald und an jeder Ecke gibts was zu entdecken. Der Boy war im Himmel!!! Es gab ausreichend Platz sodass man sich auch bei größerer Menschenmenge nicht auf die Füße tritt. Zwei tolle Spielplätze. Gutes Essen. Und das tollste, man kann dort im Steinbruch sogar selbst Fossilien schlagen oder im Sand nach Haizähnen und Edelsteinen suchen. Last year saw us conducting our Mummy and Me Camp at the beach of Port Dickson, This year, we will be bringing mummies and littles ones to the happiest and most serene place - The Bentong Happy Farm where you will spend 2 days 1 night listening to goats bleating, chickens clucking, sounds of wind blowing, children laughter and giggles and getting in some much needed fresh air from the nature. Activities in this camp includes planting and harvesting vegetables, animal feeding and husbandry, night walk to look for nocturnal insects, morning hike to Happy Hill to witness the Sea of Clouds, river swimming at Monkey Rock and many more. Das war Ostern. Ostersonntag erst Eiersuche im Garten, dann zum Essen zu Omi. Nachmittags große Eiersuche im Park und danach zu besten Freunden für Stockbrot und grillen. Bis auf ein bisschen Zeitstress schön, Wetter war auch toll. Heute, am Ostermontag, waren wir bei Oma und Opa. Dort war auch nochmal der Osterhase, aber vor allem gab es reichlich Essen. Wetter war eher norddeutsch.
