Got to love how much the kids are loving the lambing. Milky (who is a Shetland x out of one of our cade lambs) is just the friendliest, most cuddly and trusting lamb that the kids lie down with her to enjoy the sun. SORTIE LONGUE . 🏃🏻♀️ . Une fois n'est pas coutume, j'ai fait ma sortie longue un lundi... C'est plus une Rando trail parce que je devais garder l'allure EF... Alors avec les montées... 🤷🏻♀️🚶🏻♀️ . 🏃🏻♀️ . Sur le papier, 2h15, ☀️ et assez chaud. . 🏃🏻♀️ . En pratique, ça a donné : ⚡🌥️🌧️🌬️ et, le pompon, non pas une mais deux coupes de bois non signalées sur Swiss mobile... Difficile de trouver une alternative quand tu ne connais pas les chemins du coin... Je suis partie à l'aventure en coupant (moi aussi) dans la forêt 😅🙈 . 🏃🏻♀️ . Hi there! Welcome to our little corner of the internet. We are the Smith’s. I’m a stay at home mom to 6 awesome kids, one with autism, some with ADHD, sensory processing disorder, anxiety, allergies, eczema, OCD, did I miss anything? 😂 Oh! and wrapping up the tail end of our family with twin toddlers, it’s a zoo and we love it 😅 While being at home I am also currently a Brand Partner with the Wellness Company Amare. Brian is the head of the Exercise Science department at a private school and the Strength & Conditioning coach for all of the high school sports teams. He also has a personal training business while also running our BUFF Supplements business, and to top it off he is the best dad and husband. Our journey with natural health & wellness started with our autistic son Rome and wanting to help him heal from the inside out through natural means. FRACTIONNÉ LONG EN CÔTE. . 🏃🏻♀️ . Une séance sympa sur le papier... 30min d'endurance fondamentale pour commencer... Et ça, c'est tjs difficile à tenir car dès qu'il y a une mini montée (style un pont!), mon coeur monte et je ne suis plus en EF... Bref... . 🏃🏻♀️ . S'en suivent 3 répétitions de 6 min au seuil en montée (tjs pas trop raide selon ma coach, mais sur une portion, c'était qd même 23%... Oups!). . 🏃🏻♀️ . La dernière partie, je l'ai faite dans la forêt... C'était tellement bien de pouvoir courir avec le sourire, le soleil et les arbres qui verdissent! Au total, 12km et 275d+ en 1h27... La faute à l'heure d'endurance fondamentale 😅😆... . 🏃🏻♀️ . Cet après-midi, on a fait une petite balade de 5km sur le sentier de la truite avec les 3 enfants qui nous restent. Très chouette! Je mettrai peut-être quelques photos de cette balade pour illustrer mes prochaines sorties ! . 🏃🏻♀️ . Ah... Et je me suis inscrite pour ma 1e course de la saison... Le @xtratrail_lavaux ... Ça me permettra de voir un peu ce qui me reste à bosser pour l'objectif de mi-septembre 🙈 . 🏃🏻♀️ . D'autres après ici qui vont y participer ? Ce sera une première pour moi, même si j'avais fait un bout du parcours en off il y a 2 ans...

FRACTIONNÉ EN CÔTE. . 🏃🏻♀️ . Une sortie au frais aujourd'hui pour un sympathique fractionné en côte... Histoire de bien faire chauffer les cuissots, je devais faire 30 secondes de chaise puis foncer le plus possible pdt près de 1'30"... Le tout multiplié par 7... Autant dire que je l'ai sentie passer 😄😆 . 🏃🏻♀️ . Avec l'échauffement et le retour à la maison (8km), ça a donné 10.7km, 330d+ (enfin, ma Garmin me dit 305 en montée et 350 en descente 😆) en 1h20. . 🏃🏻♀️ . Au retour, Punk6 m'attendait impatiemment pour aller faire un tour à vélo... Chose faite, j'étais contente qu'il ait mal aux jambes... Comme ça, j'avais une excuse 🤭😅(7.5km) . 🏃🏻♀️ . Bravo à tous ceux qui ont couru ce week-end, et bonne récup à vous 😉

Little brother 💙 Louay is vandaag 2 weken oud maar voor mijn gevoel is hij er al zoveel langer. Het aanhappen en drinken gaat nu gelukkig eindelijk beter maar vaste drinktijden heeft hij nog niet. Het is ook veel kolven tussendoor om het allemaal rond te krijgen in spitstijden s'morgens en s'avonds.een hele uitdagende en vooral ook doorzettingsvermogen om borstvoeding te blijven geven. Another new arrival today @kilnpeaceshetlands Millie had twin rams. Unfortunately one was not well and very stuck so didn’t make it - he was huge and very inflated with fluid in his belly 😔 but second lamb doing great. He is called Ewok. I have been quiet on here for a wee while. It has been a busy few weeks. The most important thing that happened was our beautiful baby girl Jill was born on the 28th of March. This is a picture i took of her siblings meeting her for the first time. There is no greater feeling in the world than this. Did i ever think i would be the Mother of 6 kids.....never...... would i choose to do it over again.... absolutely. Big families can be hard but bring so much joy. Meet the newest #GSP of the family. This is Cohens dog. I was really against having a shedding/hunting dog, but 4 years ago Cody insisted that we get a GSP from @coach_bo_ . When Cody passed away Creed made this dog his everything. She was his girl.❤️ she had always been Cody’s dog so it was his way of taking care of what was Cody’s. We quickly fell in love with the bread so we bred our GSP Dandy to one of their dogs and had a litter of pups and that’s where Millie the GSP came from. Chandler claimed this dog as hers. Cohen always said he was the only one without a dog so one day Nick said let’s just get him a GSP, so 3 weeks later here we are. @creekwood.kennels Some may call us crazy….we say blessed.
