Moved the chicks out to the little (our original) chicken run on Tuesday for the first time. They have the heat lamp for nighttime and did well overnight. Sadly we lost 5 chicks to a raven that thought they were breakfast. Not sure how it got in so I worked on the run yesterday morning. Plus my youngest duck was dead too. Mixing up potting soil ourselves this year- The mushroom compost we’ve been using for years and yes occasionally we do get mushrooms growing from it. 美國遊記-Arizona Kingman 亞利桑那州 金曼 離開Las Vegas後正式開始我們的美國公路之旅 從Las Vegas自駕到大峽谷，走的就是經典的66號公路🥹 美國公路又長又直 久久才有幾間小店，中途因為太想上廁所 經過一區寫著Museum的地方 (原本以為已經荒廢沒有營業，因為看起來超級無人煙😅) 在外圍逛一下後發現有一個門可以推開!! 原來是一個叫做Ash Fork的小鎮 裡面有介紹當地的歷史文物還有一些紀念品可以買 管理員是一個老爺爺分享我們很多小故事 還有非常熱心替我們指路附近的郵局(但他好像有點老人癡呆 重複同一段話很多次 很可愛) 開心的到郵局寄了第一批明信片後就直直開往我們中繼站在Kingman租的airbnb小木屋 (訂房時還跟房東通信 他們說原本是不租給在airbnb上沒有任何紀錄的外國人 但看我們人很好所以相信我們🤣) 入住後發現了一本建屋日誌 原來這棟小木屋是房東先生和他老爸徒手蓋的!omg太強了吧!
