First place Figure Class A at Jr USAs 🥇 While I did not earn my pro card this go around, I have a lot to be proud of. I won my class, had my best showing to date, and got to stand toe to toe with an incredible overall line up of figure ladies. I feel like this year I established myself as a legitimate figure competitor. And I had a blast on stage. This was by far my longest and in some ways most difficult prep. At times I didn’t know if I would make it to this stage. I’m proud of everything I was able to juggle and things I accomplished this year while being fully dedicated to this process. Many people have told me to try my hand at Jr Nationals in 4 weeks. While my competitor heart would love to push on, I can say with the upmost confidence in my decision that I’m ending my season here. We threw everything at this show, and now it’s time to prioritize the other things in life that take the back burner when you are completely focused on this huge goal. That nine-day-out feeling! The diet face is strong, but the satisfaction and excitement are stronger! I’ve mostly bounced back from my stomach bug, and I’m getting back into the gym today. I know it’s not Tuesday but crazy how different a year makes! Around this time last year I was in prep but had a lot of weight to lose. I was consuming about 500 less calories than I am now. Working with @paulrevelia during my prep, post show and back into prep, we have built my caloric intake to where it’s sustainable while also maximizing my training in the gym! Almost 5 weeks post show, I’m about 5-7 lbs above my previous stage weight and feeling pretty darn good! Yea, I am a competitive bodybuilder but I’ve learned so much on how to maintain a healthy physique while traveling for work or soccer tournaments, having fun with family and friends, and working in fitness into my daily routine with work and family obligations. Officially one month out 🥳😱 I’m feeling strangely at peace though. I still have a couple pounds left, primarily from my legs and glutes, to bring the conditioning we want, but I’m still ahead of schedule. I feel prepared and confident. I know how hard I’ve worked and what I can bring to stage. I just need to stay buckled down and keep my eyes on the prize (literally). First I want to thank everyone that supported me through this journey. This has been a long prep for me, I went through each day giving everything I had and didn’t complain one bit. I want to thank my Coach @travisyow_ for not only coaching me on this prep but being a Great Mentor/Big Brother to me. I watched him go through his prep too as well and I told myself if I wanted to be Great at this sport I have to give everything I had and watching him go through that gave me the motivation to do that. Omg where do I even start?! Ahh I’m still on cloud 9, pinch me bc I still feel like I’m dreaming 🩷 I never thought I’d compete in a body building competition, but look at what I just accomplished!! I’m officially an NPC Bikini Athlete y’all 😱 5th place in True Novice & 5th place Open Class A 🏅 This weekend was such an amazing experience and a huge stepping stone with my future in bodybuilding. I met such amazing female competitors who have inspired, encouraged, and motivated me to keep pushing! I’m so friggin proud of myself for sticking to the plans no matter how tough it was. I reached a new level of discipline I never knew I had in me and that alone was a huge achievement in my eyes. I couldn’t have done this alone - I have these 2 amazing coaches who never stopped believing in me! They helped me become a better, stronger, and more confident version of myself. A version that I didn’t think I was capable of becoming and for that I am forever grateful to them! Post show celebration always hits different when I’m with #myfamily . 🌎 ❤️🥰 After the show was over, I hurried to get in line to receive my feedback and then Deni and I drove home so I could shower and go out to a fun dinner as a family. We had a great time at @baddaddysgreenvillesc and the 🍔 I had was on point!! These kiddos really motivate me to be a better person and athlete so they deserve to enjoy the fruits of my efforts as well. Competing while balancing family and work obligations isn’t easy and each #prep I learn something new. I just have to always remind myself of priorities and my nonnegotiables whenever I feel overwhelmed.

I got my feedback!!! And no, I’m not done yet but… I want to give myself a bit more time before I step back up on stage. I know what needs to be done but I just need some more time to execute the plan (which is good because between April and May, the Orara household is pretty busy).
