🐎MORNING AT KEENELAND🐎 We had the most wonderful experience yesterday @keeneland . Most of my day was spent with the other judges as we scored all the finalists in the Masters of Crafts competition. There was just so much amazing talent!! It wasn't easy! Winners will be announced soon. It was fun to represent Madison In while I was there and be able to talk about what a wonderful place it is to live and have a business. I encouraged everyone to visit. After the judging was over Russ met me back at the mansion for dinner. Southern hospitality was at it's finest! We had a cocktail hour and then a delicious 5 course meal that I will remember forever. We spent the night @21chotels in downtown Lexington KY then woke up this morning and headed to the track for breakfast and to watch morning practice. The horses were so shiney in the morning sun. This is a beautiful place. One we plan on coming back to for sure . Now we are off to Ohio to pick up products for Girls Weekend...THIS WEEKEND!! What a week!! See you in Stories! Beth P.S. Ok this young man has the coolest mom! Samantha asked me to paint this for his birthday and I happily accepted. She had a photo that was taken from him and his dad’s duck blind and asked me to recreate it. I added a few birds and played with the colors a little, but over all tried to stay true to the photo. Seeing his face when I delivered it was the best!! It quite literally made my day. Seeing a young man exposed to art and having something that he can carry with him throughout his life and possibly pass down to his children ❤️. This is why I paint. I remember being his age and my mother doing all she could to expose me to art and the impact it left on me. It is the gift that keeps on giving ❤️.
