It can be frustrating to feel anxious and depressed even when life is going well. You may find yourself wondering why you’re feeling this way because things in your life are pretty good. You may feel like you need to hide your anxiety and depression from others because how can someone else understand, when you don't understand it yourself? Many times, when we find ourselves in this position, we think we should “pull ourselves up with our bootstraps” and power through. Asking for help may seem silly or you may think “it’s not serious enough for therapy, I’m fine.” If this is you, you’re not alone.
