Yelapa can only be reached by sea. Water cabs cruise along the wild southern coast of Bahía de Banderas, passing whales that spawn by the hundreds in this corner of the Pacific, and, around a rocky bend, come into view of spectacular Yelapa: a deep bay bordered by green mountains, a blonde beach fringed with palm trees, twenty or so colorful pangas tossed by the swell, a village stretching upwards and, in the sky, the ballet of frigate birds and pelicans. This fishing village has been welcoming tourists for ages. In the 1960s, Bob Dylan, Dennis Hopper and other artists sailing against the tide came here to recharge their batteries. / Yelapa n’est accessible que par la mer. Mexico city slum, tužna realnost ovog ogromnog grada. Milijuni ljudu žive u bijedi i siromaštvu. Ulice su tako uske da niti jedan autobus ne može u njih ući. Zbog toga je javni prijevoz riješen sistemom žičara koji im omogućava da dođu do najbliže stanice metroa koja ih vozi na posao. Zbog bolje protočnosti žičara ne staje na stanici nego samo malo uspori kako bi se moglo iskočiti/uskočiti u kabinu. Karta je 10 pezosa, metro je 5 pezosa. Jeftino je i to im omogućava da budu zaposleni. Brda oko Mexico citya sva su prekrivena ovakvim naseljima. Ova kraj kojih smo mi prošli su ok jer imaju vodu i struju. Ona udaljenija u lošijem su stanju.
