Καταλαβαίνω το έχεις ακούσει τόσες πολλές φορές... αλλά πραγματικά είναι ίσως το πιο σημαντικό σε ότι και αν έχει ειπωθεί ως τώρα. Το να είσαι ευγνώμων για σένα, για το σώμα σου και για ότι έχεις στη ζωή σου μέχρι τώρα είναι το μαγικό συστατικό για να βιώνεις την ευτυχία στο εδώ και τώρα. Σκέψου ότι η ευγνωμοσύνη έχει μία χρυσή κλωστή που σε ενώνει με όλες τις επιθυμίες σου! Για να λειτουργήσει όμως θα πρέπει να την αισθάνεσαι βαθιά και αληθινά κάθε μα κάθε μέρα! Όταν είσαι ευγνώμων για όλα αυτά που έχεις τότε η χαρά και η δόνησή σου ανεβαίνει και τότε είναι που τα υλοποιείς ότι πραγματικά ποθείς! Πάρε ένα τετράδιο και κάθε πρωί γράψε 10 λόγους για τους οποίους είσαι ευγνώμων μαζί με το “γιατί είσαι ευγνώμων για αυτούς;"! Είναι σημαντικό να το γράψεις και μετά από κάθε πράγμα να πεις τρείς φορές ευχαριστώ και να αισθανθείς βαθιά το πόσο τυχερός/ή είσαι για όλα αυτά που έχεις! Δες τι αλλάζει για σένα.. Πως αισθάνεσαι.. What an interesting time…today is the Spring Equinox where so much new life and growth is evident while also still seeing remnants of Winter energy. We are in a transition time, moving from death to birth/rebirth. We are allowing Winter to come into completion while ushering in the vibrancy and big energy of Spring. While on a wander, in my yard, I noticed this juxtaposition of energies and seasons expressed on this hydrangea. Seeing this in form, outside of myself, gave me pause and allowed me to really notice, observe and be with these contrasting and simultaneously occurring energies. Seeing this also helped me name a part of my current internal experience that I’d been noticing but not fully able to name in words. And naming this, plus seeing it outside of myself, helped me have more understanding and compassion for my own experience. Pick a card from The Power of Surrender Cards by Judith Orloff, M.D. As we move into eclipse season (March 25th, April 8th) and the Equinox on March 19th/20th the theme is releasing/surrendering what no longer serves us. Card 1: Surrender stress - We live in a state of being where stress is constant. As moms, it’s very easy to get to the point that you don’t feel the stress anymore b/c it’s constant. This is a message to take care of yourself. Reconnect with your body & release the stress you’re storing. It could be by stretching, a hot bath, or punching a pillow/screaming into it. Something you may not know about me, I sew. I sew a lot. I’m concerned about the environment so I’ve been keeping scraps & trying to figure out what to do w/ them. I could literally stuff a couch @ this point. The other day, I got in meditation that those scraps are holding onto a LOT of OLD energy. Energy that is holding me back. Energy that is low vibration. Energy that is creating mental clutter. I was shocked to learn this to say the least. It's amazing how physical items in our world can hold old energy, w/out us realizing it. If you had told me a few years ago that I would feel good again, (emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually), I either would have laughed hysterically @ you to your face, or offered you an.y.thing. for how to get there. For my Overwhelmed Mom sisters out there. I see you, I hear you and some days I am you. And then I return to who I am at my heart & soul, and the overwhelm releases me. (AKA, I remember who the fVck I am). Overwhelm stems from too many choices/decisions (kids activities/needs, housework, paid work, family/friends/ partner's needs) & not choosing/acting from YOUR heart space. It's from putting others first & forsaking your needs. It's not being grounded in who you are. If you were truly moving from your heart & your soul, what would be possible? What clarity would happen? What miracles would suddenly show up? Overwhelm is the opposite of trust. Trusting yourself. Trusting your heart. Trusting in miracles & that things will work out. I take pictures to document and remember life. All kinds of life, “ordinary” and “extraordinary” (whatever that means because to me, it’s all extraordinary). I document moments, feelings, “big” things and “small” things, the wide view and close in. I document what catches my eye and speaks to my heart. Why do I document life in all its facets, forms and seasons? I’ve come to know that documenting life in this way is a helpful tool that allows me to connect with my life, myself and the world more deeply. These photos help me remember moments and seasons of life and invite me to notice cycles, rhythms and seasons of my life and the world. The photos help me get more comfortable with the universal concept of change, the temporary nature of all things and the inherent beauty of all things. Through noticing what I document consistently, sporadically and also overtime, it teaches me about my personal values, myself and the moment of life I’m in/have been in/or about to enter. These photos give me a window into what might be brewing internally that is reflected externally. I get to have these pictures as anchors and references to help me be, get curious, grow, navigate change and create life that I desire. They help me connect with both reality and possibility. Photos are a way and a language that helps me get to know myself and the complex, ever evolving world I get to live in. Wether it's not being able to fall asleep to begin with, or waking up in the middle of the night & not being able to fall back asleep getting your Monkey-Mind into neutral is key. I used this process myself last night when Monkey-Mind showed up. This is a similar process I use when I find myself in a funk, or stewing in crappy emotions rather than processing through. It's taking your self from feeling low (say 1) getting up to neutral (4-5) and then feeling much better (8-10). I wish that I had known about the space of neutral and stabilizing there years ago. It's a game changer, especially when you have support moving though the process. Connecting to your body or your intuition without the other is leaving money on the table. By utilizing both you’re harnessing the seen and unseen. And if you’re wondering why tapping shifted the stuck shoulder and not reiki, I think it was 3 fold. 1: If reiki shifted it then I wouldn’t have had the experience of tapping into my intuition & realizing how I needed to reconnect to it and not just hand my power over to others or a system. 2: The stuck energy was trauma based from the rage, anger, fury towards a male and his treatment of me. I swallowed my rage rather than physically take it out on him. My right shoulder (male energy of a body) froze in 24 hrs. It needed a physical release. The release was so intense I started gagging & I thought I was going to throw up while the energy moved out. 3: It showed me that the body does indeed keep score. I saw very clearly how stuck energy can get trapped in the physical & how it can be released. And how I needed to step forward as a healer for myself, my girls, my community & the world.
