I started my day with a special treat of mango and lychees! 😍 This was my first try of lychees, and I really enjoyed them. My children loved helping peel them and they each liked it. Even our pups enjoyed some! 😁 I haven't decided what I'll be eating for lunch yet, but I'm definitely looking for volume since I only had this small amount for breakfast.

When you finally "wake up" 🙄😂🤣 "Humans are apex predators, top of the food chain. What other apex predator eats salad? There are things in meat that you have to have that you cannot get from plants." Dr. Chaffee So if you don't eat meat, you are relying on synthetic man-made vitamins and multi-vitamins or foods like veggie burgers, cereals, or plant-milks fortified with synthetic vitamins to stay healthy. Since going carnivore, I don't have to take vitamins anymore, and all my labs are perfect regarding vitamin intake. We are not herbivores. According to Dr. Chaffee, eating a diet high in plants will probably be detrimental to our health because the human body was not made to consume them. Because this is the diet that our ancestors consumed for millions of years, he suggests following a diet that is high in animal foods and low in plants. It is evident from our biology that humans are not well suited to consume plants. We lack the enzymes required to digest many plant poisons, and our digestive systems are not intended to break down the cellulose found in plant cell walls. Dr. Chaffee contends that the main cause of the health issues afflicting contemporary civilization, including diabetes, cancer, heart disease, and obesity, is our overconsumption of plants. He believes that the best way to reverse the damage done to our system and improve our health is to adopt a diet that consists primarily of animal foods. Plants are known to include lectins, oxalates, and acrylamide, among other carcinogens. Inflammation is a major risk factor for chronic illnesses including diabetes, cancer, and heart disease and can be brought on by plant toxins. A number of health issues can arise from the disruption of the gut microbiome caused by plant toxins. For those following a typical Western diet, the notion that plants are out to get us might sound like a crazy conspiracy theory. 🫐 April Wellness Diary: To był naprawdę intensywny miesiąc, w którym priorytetem było dla mnie przede wszystkim wracanie do balansu i utrzymywania równowagi, ponieważ im bardziej „cisnęłam”, tym ciało mocniej przypominało mi, że aby dawać, trzeba skądś czerpać 🧘🏻‍♀️🪴💦 Tak więc w kwietniu wróciłam do korzeni i skupiłam się na podstawach, które sprawiają, że czuję się najlepiej: • jedzenie dużej ilości świeżych owoców: szczególnie dobrze działa na mnie stawianie na nie w 1 połowie dnia - pod koniec miesiąca wróciłam do kolorowych smoothie bowl na śniadanie, dzięki którym czuję się niesamowicie odżywiona i lekka jednocześnie (boski stan) • picie dużej ilości wody (3 litry) + woda kokosowa, matcha z mlekiem roślinnym i domowe lemoniady • codzienna medytacja: nawet te 10 minut rano i przed snem, znacząco odpręża i daje układowi nerwowemu sygnał, że wszystko jest w porządku • wyciszanie na godzinę przed snem: zdecydowanie czuję, gdy do późnego wieczora korzystam z laptopa lub nawet oglądam film - rano zawsze jestem mniej wypoczęta i z obniżonym nastrojem. Dlatego dbam, aby ten czas 21-22 był przeznaczony na czytanie, dbanie o cerę, czas z partnerem lub medytowanie • 30 minutowy spacer tuż po przebudzeniu: uwielbiam rozpoczynać dzień w ten sposób, szczególnie że obecnie wszystko rozkwita i przyroda budzi się do życia. Gdy tylko mam wolny ranek wychodzę na spacer, mimo że nie zawsze mam na to ochotę - po powrocie nigdy nie żałuje, że na niego poszłam. Uwielbiam ten czas, gdy większość ludzi jeszcze śpi, a ja w spokoju mogę eksplorować okolicę W maju planuje dalej odżywiać moje ciało dużą ilością soczystych owoców, kolorowych sałatek, smoothie bowli i działań sprzyjających optymalnemu samopoczuciu. Zapomniałam już jak dobrze czułam się, gdy zaczęłam odżywiać moje ciało pokarmami roślinnymi & w formie jak najbardziej zbliżonej do ich naturalnej postaci. 🌿 Maj zapowiada się pięknie, z dużą ilością podróży i nowych rzeczy, do których dążę już od dawna - trzymajcie kciuki! These are the ‘fudgiest’ flapjacks! Super healthy - 0 oil, 0 refined sugar, 0 gluten! Plant-based & energising! This is also great for hormone balancing as baoab and maca naturally balance hormones & have a number of health benefits! To name a few: improved stamina, libido, cognitive power, energy, focus, bone density, nervous system regulation, physical body health such as skin, teeth, hair, eye vitality, to name a few! The list is exhaustive! Recipe: 150g gluten free oats 200 ml cold water 2 tbsp chia 2tbsp mixed seeds Ginger, cinnamon to taste! (I use roughlt 3/4 tbsp each!)
