This annual springtime tradition takes place in the lobby of @WaltDisneyWorld’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Much like the Gingerbread House during the holiday season, the Cottage sells everything sweet, chocolaty, and delicious perfect for filling your Easter baskets! I was delighted to discover that they even had a plant based offering, the Dirt Cup, which was absolutely scrumptious! And while you’re visiting, be sure to also check out the display of chocolate eggs themed after your favorite @Disney characters, movies and park attractions! These eggs are a true testament to the magic of the culinary cast team and often times you can see the creation of new eggs being painted by these extremely talented culinary imagineers in the lobby. We had a {WILD} time at Animal Kingdom last week 🌳🐅✨ . We went in withbintentionsnofbgeabbing a few quick snacks and catching a show. We chose to go see Finding Nemo the Musical, a must see in my opinion, and had so much fun nibbling on snacks here and there. . I haven't been to this park in a few months so it was really nice to walk around and take in the sights and sounds. . We used our brand new jogger from @guavafamily and were so impressed with its quality, durability and easy foldable build. Brooklyn loves going on runs with me as I'm training for my Princess 10k! . 🌌 A VERY Good evening from #DisneysHollywoodStudios! 💜 While waiting to meet up with some of our found fam/ people visiting from NYC… a casually compelling convo about #DisneyMagic brought some immense gratitude top of mind. Talking to some friends this evening about the #DisneyCommunity, we all agreed it has become our #FoundCommunity in all the important and very real ways… the friends we’ve made here, and Cast who are now friends, are why we have stayed. The magic is the people. Funny enough, the attractions are, at this point, the lowest compelling aspect of why we spend our time here 😂 (wild, right?). Mostly we go to Parks and Resorts to see people, or experience them performing … or grab food with them. The rest is almost peripheral? Our dear friends @Hello.Corie and @EJPhillips29 wanted a special way to celebrate Shi’s birthday with us and we all thought it was time to start a new tradition! Now every October we will choose a day where what we do is dictated by the letters in his name. Since this was his first birthday we choose the Magic Kingdom for our challenge, but I can’t wait for the day when he gets to make the rules and lead us around our mutual happy place to make core memories together! BOO to YOU 🎃🌟🧡 The Halloween season in the Kingdom is simply MAGICAL! There’s nothing better then trick or treating down Main Street, taking photos by the iconic Mickey pumpkins, and waving to your favorite villain. We’ve been fortunate enough to attend a couple Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Parties over the years including the very briefly offered Boo Bash. This fall season in particular has flown by and we are already less than twelve nights away from Halloween. Although I haven’t been able to visit Magic Kingdom in all its spooky glory as much as I would have wanted to this season (or even attend a party) I couldn’t help but share some of my favorite core Disney autumnal moments from all the Halloween pasts. This @WaltDisneyWorld Resort is so special to me and this stay marks our fourth time checking in. The first time was during my birthday weekend in 2021 with David, my mother and grandmother. The last time we stayed here (exactly one year ago to the day) I was eight months pregnant and dreaming of the day I could swim with my child in the Paddock Pool (which finally happened this afternoon)! A truly magical stay at Disney Contemporary Resort
Stood at the Disney Contemporary Resort At my stay at the Disney Contemporary Resort. I stood in the Garden Wing room on the 11th floor. Which has views of the garden area, pool area and marina. The room fits up to 5 people and comes with 2 queen size beds and one day bed. The room was designed in the theme of the Incredibles movie. Which was so cute.The great thing about the hotel is that everything is close in proximity. You have shops within the resort, restaurant, cafe, fitness center, laundry service and more. From the Resort to get to Disney Magic Kingdom is about a 10-15 minute walk. They also have shuttle buses that take you to the other park and to the other resorts as well which is so convenient and great. *PRO TIP* If you get the chance on your next vacation one of my tips I like to share is go to Epcot RIGHT when the park opens and head straight back to world showcase in the very back. (Your going to have to bypass a lot of fun things in the front of the park BUT you can always back track!!) In my experience everyone starts at the front so world showcase is WAY less crowded the first 30-45 mins of park opening. This will allow you to stroll around the world and take in all the small details without the crowds. . . Have you ever done this? I’d love to know!!
