A Lil share on a first-time Horse Medicine experience... 🐎 "I must admit, when I entered my first horse medicine session with Elsa and her herd, I had no idea what to expect. I know Elsa well and am familiar with her body of work, but I didn't fully understand what it would mean to receive from her animal partners. The experience exceeded all expectations. First, simply being in the presence of the horses (and dogs!) is so grounding and calming. Being in the open, connected to nature, and the wisdom of these incredible souls was a great comfort to me. Having Elsa's guidance was a must for me during this experience, as she was able to offer insight into what the horses were offering with their gestures, postures, and energies. Their messages were spot on, reminding me not to give without a balance of receiving and to hold my boundaries firmly. Glacier National Park, Part III 🧊 This 9.6 mile (15.3 km) journey led us to Iceberg Lake, which still in September was not yet an iceberg but a tranquil and still powder blue oasis. I can only imagine what the first explorers who discovered this miracle of nature must have thought at the sight, and I like to think that I too shared that same sense of wonder and awe with them. Brilliant shades of gold, maroon, and jade shimmered throughout the mountain scenery all along the trail, making this my favorite hike of the entire trip.
