Palestinians’ present is the natives’ past. Palestinians in Gaza are actively being starved to death. With that thought, I go for my last run in #NY before my trip. The image of the Palestinian kids pleading for food does not escape my head, in addition to the various images of kids that died from starvation. I stand at this spot and ponder if it is even ethical to consider buying my morning bread while the Palestinian people are being intentionally starved to death. All our attempts to stop the ethnic cleansing machine failed. Palestinians in Gaza still starve. I am wearing my raincoat from a Native American store - a rare find. In my background are the standing structures representing the industrialized history of NY - a contribution to the progressed war machine of today, and a patch of garden showing the origins of the NY land which belonged to the tribe of Lenape. We made it! Handover complete!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 This morning we completed our 1600 mile drive to the Romanian / Ukraine border to meet the Ukrainian team who travelled down to meet us. We were able to hand over all the humanitarian aid that we’ve transported (in what is the 65th consignment) and load up a second van (66th consignment) full of food from the cash and carry where we met up. 60 days of war 🥀 This Orthodox Easter marks 60 days of war in Ukraine. While you are on a Pagan person’s page, my family is Orthodox + Catholic mix and we recognise a variety of different holidays at home. Why I don’t talk more about war? Does it seem like I don’t care much anymore or at all? My mental health has seen a serious decline that many can relate to. I have made a decision to dedicate more time to shining the light within and onto others. I only scratch the surface of the news and have never made it a priority to force every news that comes out onto others (especially because many things I see people share are fakes). The support continues at all times. When I opened my website for the first time (around 2015) I had a page called “My Mission”. On that page I stated that 10% of all my proceeds will go towards children of Donbas and Syria. Nothing has really changed since that time. Children have always been and will continue to be my priority, as Mother’s heart cries for them all. If you want to show extra help, my dad and his motorcycle club are quite involved and often collect money and resources for various causes + have members that left to Ukraine to offer hands on help. My page will continue to be a home of love, peace and wellness for anyone who is looking for it. Anticipating the first shift tonight with my new Caregiver Ms. Patty who impressed me greatly during her training session on Thursday. And of course my dear husband Eddie who forgives me even when I fuss at him like I did this afternoon. Yesterday’s post was from my heart and perhaps the most painful I have ever shared here. It may have seemed atypical but in some ways it was not. As you know, I always try to share honestly. And I could no longer hide the pain I was feeling. It seemed like my only choice was either to post nothing or to post how I was really feeling. As I considered my options, I realized that if I was feeling this way probably there were lots of others feeling the same. I decided to be honest so we would all know we were not alone. I know I have found great comfort in the comments you posted and the private message I received from @Simonettacavazza in Italy. My art is deliberate in making joy maintain a present and ongoing existence. Mit seiner Pfarrkirche St. Martin und dem nahegelegenen, gut erhaltenen Schloss. 🏰⛪ Es war nicht immer so: Ab 1606 ist Johann Friedrich Schertlin von Burtenbach Ortsherr. Und evangelisch. Und der Enkel jenes Schertlin von Burtenbach, der als Augsburger Statthauptmann an der üblen Brandschatzung Roms, dem Sacco di Roma teilhat. Und damit die guten (Geschäfts) Beziehungen Rom - Augsburg für immer beendet. Nun, der Enkel war im Umgang mit der katholischen Emmersacker Bevölkerung nicht zimperlich. 1613 wurde deshalb die Ortsherrschaft von kaiserlichen Kammergericht den Fuggern zugesprochen. Den Gerichtsvorsitz hatte auch ein Fugger 😉⚜️😂 Also alles wieder katholisch. 1672 wird der Ort an einen Graf Schaumburg veräußert. Der schafft die Kopie der "Blut-Maria" aus Böhmen an. Die wiederum von später von einem evangelischen Ortsherren draußen an einen Baum genagelt 🌳🔨wird um die katholische Bevölkerung zu provozieren. Das Kunstwerk hat dies offenbar gut überstanden und ist wieder Ziel für Wallfahrten. Bei all den sinnlosen und blutigen Auseinandersetzungen der Reformationszeit bis in den dreißigjährigen Krieg: die Menschen waren überzeugt, sich über ihr Leben hinaus verantworten zu müssen. ⚖️ Zum einen in einem Jenseits, in dem eine Hölle 👹 und ein Himmel 👼 Realität sind. Zum anderen für kommende Generationen. Denn vieles was damals begonnen wurde, geschah in dem Bewusstsein, nicht sich selbst, sondern erst kommenden Generationen zu dienen. These last few days been heavy with anxt and worry. 🥺 So much been happening most of all overseas where my thoughts are with the courageous people of Ukraine 🇺🇦 #ukraineinvasion You just hope that the sanctions and actions taken by European countries together with US, Canada, Australia etc will put stop to this madness. #sanctions Believing that humanity will win and we must prevail in face of uncertainty and chaos. Today I did some banana 🍌 pancakes 🥞 with my boys to lighten up my mood and centering myself as a mum. Recipe below. Let’s hope it’s a better week ahead to all of us. #bananapancakes 2-3 bananas mashed 2-3 eggs mixed with bananas 1-2 cups of milk of your choice 2 teaspoon of physelian husk 2 cups of self raising whole meal flour Mix it all together until thick consistency. Fry and enjoy 😉

“Fly me to the moon and let me play among the stars” 🎶 When I am worried and anxious I take my mind to places where good things happen. If I am worried about a family member’s chronic degenerative disease I research those people who are putting their love and soul into finding a cure. When we fear what’s happening with the climate crisis we can look to those who are showing us how we can help; what incremental steps we can take. I read somewhere that in the 2nd world war a father said to his child “when you see bad things happening, look for the helpers” (ie the people who are doing good things.) In times of great fear, we look for what good we can do, or how we can help others do good. Think of how we clapped the NHS during the pandemic. Our children will remember that token of human gesture. Every little good thing counts. It starts with play It starts with the imagination. It’s the muscle we build to withstand dark times And it’s the creative strength we need to develop in order to find ways to make the good things happen. Of the 7 billion people on the planet most of them are good people. May their humanity prevail. 📚 Book review 📚 James S A Corey “Babylon’s Ashes” (Book 6) First of all I cant believe I am so close to finishing this series.. Its gonna be weird not reading about all the space battles for a while and not being drawn into someone’s disputes over territories.. So this book follows the last one immediately afterwards. It didnt feel like there was some stop to the action. This book was now for the tactical revenge of the attacked Earth and colonies of the Belt. So it was more a continuation of the previous story rather than follow up some time later.. What was nice was the fact that it didn’t follow just one person or two. It was all the Rocinantes crew and many of the people we have met in the previous books. It was kind of bringing them all together to show the best of humanity. And helping one another in times of need even though the person who is trying to help is also struggling.. There will always be someone trying to overthrow the current government or power and reinstate themselves above the rest and whats best about it is that there will always be someone mutinying against them and preventing them from seizing all the power. Also the good guys win after a lot of uncertainty and sacrifice. As they usually do.. I have seen all the TV series until this point and as usual some parts didnt correlate to the book.. Besides that it was still such a good read and I kept on reading to early ours of the morning to finish it.. Like some sort of space race..
