Currently the Incline has approximately 2,768 steps from the bottom to the summit. Cave of the Winds in Manitou Springs! They have two different tours that take you into the two cave systems. We loved it so much we did the Discovery Tour… which is an easy but beautiful tour. Then we also did their Lantern Ghost Tour. We had a group of 5 and they literally give you a candle lantern’s (yeah actual fire) and you go into the cave in TOTAL CAVE DARKNESS while telling you, the historically factual, ghost stories of the caves. It was incredible. Located in Manitou Springs, Pike’s Peak Cog Railway is an important part of the heritage of the western United States. Since 1891, it has been climbing up over 14,000 ft to the mountain’s highest point. On the way up, idyllic scenery surrounds a range of wildlife. As you reach the summit, you can enjoy 30 min of sweeping 360° views of the Pike Peaks region. The railway shut down in February 2019 for renovations.
