Same weight 3 yr difference WOAH First off 3 years ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ time is moving way to fast for my liking tbh So much amazing memories and lessons from then til now which I am very grateful for. But I share this to show yโall how much can happen in a years time or more. I lost about 20lbs from mid 2021 until beginning of 2022. I gained alot of strength, muscle and knowledge. Jump to 2024 I gained some weight from Nov 2023 til now I say this all to point out two things: 1)Same weight different muscle mass, physique etc 2)Itโs NORMAL to gain weight throughout a year, months, weeks, years ETC -The number on the scale is a useful tool but remember it is just that. I love me a lil sammy ๐ I donโt often make or eat sandwiches anymore! When I was living abroad and traveling, the airports there always had a salmon croissant sandwich that was absolutely delicious! I was @lidlus with my bf and he wanted some donuts and I saw their croissants and it instantly brought me back to those little enjoyable memories and I wanted to recreate my own! Letโs talk about โCool Downโs For those that arenโt new to working out, Iโm sure youโve heard of this but what is it and why is it important? Just like the beginning of your workout you should stretch and recover after any exercise; especially the more intense it is. Cool down movements can be the sane as your beginning stretches, so thereโs really no excuse not to do them ๐ The main difference would be how many you do and how long you are holding them. Cool Down movement should be more static and held for at least 30-45 secs. Now why are they important? โก๏ธ Lower your chances of injury โก๏ธ Promote blood flow โก๏ธ Helps remove lactic acid from your muscles โก๏ธ Brings heart rate, body temperature, and blood pressure back down to normal levels Here are some of my favorite Cool Down movements!
