Took a drive the other night with the family to Ch’ax̱a̓y̓ (Horseshoe Bay) great to finally see the light post lamp shade design in person, that I did for the newly renovation of the local park. My design pays homage to the place of the herring. Soon after I took some photos of the lamp shade, we walked down to the dock and got to see little herrings in the water, bubbling on the surface of the water. 📍Long Beach, Tofino We had a pretty rare spring day where the sun was iut and the weather was beautiful. I was able to wear my new @rexingsports_official outfit and loved it! The material is buttery soft and is perfect for running and yoga. I usually wear all black, so it was nice to wear some colour and get out of my comfort zone. We realize many of you might not know who we are, so let’s fix that! 👋 Meet the faces and family behind Alpha Mountain Lodging. Let’s start with: NAME: Logan ‘Loge’ POSITION: Owner/ Maintenance/ Machine Operator/ Builder/ Cleaner/ Everything in Between HERITAGE: Mountain Métis, first inhabitants of what is now known as Jasper National Park. HOMETOWN: Brule, AB. Spent his youth dirt biking and snowboarding. CAREER: Before managing cabins full-time, worked as a Journeyman Instrument Technician in the Natural Gas sector. FAVOURITE BUILDING MEMORY: Hitting the aquifer at 220ft producing 100gpm. WORST BUILDING MEMORY: Our septic system. Took us two attempts almost a year apart due to lots of mud, stuck machines, and atmospheric rivers. HOBBIES: Snowboarding, sledding, and being a Dad. FAVOURITE FEATURE OF ALPHA MOUNTAIN LODGING: Our new Dry Room & Gear Storage building. Lots of thought and customization went into that, and it was a lot more casual than the rest of the project. RANDOM LESS KNOWN FACT: He has Tryanophobia (extreme fear of needles) and is an extremely picky eater.

This is a mini tour 👌that enters Pacific Rim National Park at Nitinaht Lake. The hiking is shorter, with less weight, hits some trail highlights and makes a connection with the Ditidaht First Nation. This four-day mini adventure explores highlights of the trail, such as Tsusiat Falls, an old Ditidaht Warrior village at Tsuquadra, hidden caves and the location of early European settlements near the Cheewhat River 👩🏫. Watch whales feeding near the beach, eat local seafood 🦀 and conditions permitting, take a boat ride out through Nitinat Narrows on a marine life tour 🛥. HIKING DAYS: 2.5 | TRAVEL DAYS: 1 | RATING: Easy to Moderate 💪 The West Coast Trail is a premiere adventure destination on Vancouver Island. 🇨🇦 The full 75 km is also a challenging hiking trail, through muddy forest, along a variety of boardwalk sections and along sandy beaches. Although this West Coast Trail Explorer hike has some challenges, it is set up to let those not fully prepared for a full West Coast Trail hike to experience the incredible beauty of the trail 👍👊. This hike does still require careful preparation and planning, and is not suited to everyone’s idea of fun. The West Coast trail is much more than a challenging hike.
