망원 ‘uig 우이그’ ㅣ더치 더치커피 특유의 산미와 깔끔함이 아주 인상적이었다. 다른 카페에서는 더치를 쉽게 찾아볼 수 없을뿐더러 제대로 된 더치커피를 맛볼 수 있는 곳이 흔하지 않기에 다음에 방문해도 또다시 주문할 것 같다. ㅣ말차 말차의 쌉싸름함과 우유가 조화롭고 단맛이 강하지 않아 계속 마시게 된다. ㅣ단호박 티그레 티그레는 반죽에 들어가는 초코칩 무늬가 호랑이 무늬를 닮아, 프랑스어로 호랑이를 의미하는 tigre가 이름 그대로 붙여졌다고 한다. 이름처럼 초코칩이 콕콕 박혀있어 달콤함은 배가 되고 위에 올라가있는 단호박맛과 어우러져 달콤하면서도 고소하고, 바삭하면서도 부드러운 매력적인 디저트다.

I haven’t been to Fairy Glen on the Isle of Skye in a while and it has undergone some noticeable changes. While new paths and parking have made it more accessible for everyone, it has become more touristy and less unique. 가끔은 한강이 가까이 있다는 것이 감사하게 느껴집니다. 언제라도 시원한 바람과 드넓은 강줄기에 맞닿을 수 있는 장소이지요. 하지만 한강을 즐기기에는 꽤나 운이 따라주어야 합니다. 어떤 날은 강바람이 쌀쌀하고 또 언젠가는 비나 눈이 와 너른 잔디밭에 앉기 어렵죠. 한껏 따사로워진 날씨에 옷차림이 가벼워졌고, 초록의 나뭇잎이 무성해진 이 때가 바로 그 운이 따라주는 계절인 것 같아요. 입고 간 청자켓은 디저트를 위한 작은 돗자리가 되어주었고 잠깐의 산책에 찾아온 더위는 싱그러운 음료로 식혀주었습니다. 다가오는 5월, 완연한 한강을 즐기며 기억에 남는 순간이 함께 할 수 있기를 바라겠습니다.

Stills from yesterday in case reels aren't your thing. I'm still absolutely ecstatic that after 2 years we finally completed this mission. Absolutely knackered but incredibly proud of us all. Dad on tide watch, me and mum as #ghostnetbusters This took so many trips between tides when the weather was good and when the sand was low enough (this beach changes in height by several meters seasonally). It's such a weight off my mind it's finally free, and even managed to filter the microplastics that fell out (through our gloves because we didn't think we'd need a sifting kit, worth taking all the tools every time it seems!) My weekend plans totally fell through and I ended up in a different island chain than expected, but feels great to have been able to do this even with all the recent upheavals and messy life stuff. I'm sad the way our demand for fish causes so much suffering and pollution, but I hope that by showing a much more honest picture of these beautiful Scottish landscapes and seascapes, you can in turn make informed choices about the kind of future you want to support. Vor einem Jahr Schottland 2023. Immer noch im Norden von SKYE unterwegs bei einem freundlichen blauen Himmel über LOCH SNIZORT BEAG. Vor UIG war es schon etwas bewölkter. Doch die Luft war klar für die Aufnahmen der Bucht von UIG. Die letzte entstand in der Nähe von TOTSCORE. Weiter Richtung Norden erreichten wir THE SKYE MUSEUM OF ISLAND LIFE. Wir blieben etwas länger und machten von den erstaunlichen Eindrücken viele Bilder, die in einem eigenen Fotobuch (44 Seiten, Freischaltung der digitalen Version notwendig) zusammengestellt sind. Wieder auf der Straße fuhren wir dann weiter und erreichten den nördlichsten Punkt unserer Reise von SKYE: DUNTULM. Der Himmel war wieder blau und auch so das weite Meer. Von der Westküste wechselten wir dann rüber zur Ostküste. Bei BALMACQUEEN bildet die Berglandschaft mit THE QUIRAING das Profil eines Gesichtes. Auch auf der Fahrt nach Süden war das schöne Wetter beständig, wie das Foto der STAFFIN BAY mit dem AN CORRAN BEACH zeigt.
