My Professor and long time friend, Hagop Nagarian, @hagopnajarian, put two 5 week class courses together (2002 and 2004) and knowing my cultural background got me to sign up as an Audit student to allow me to do my own thing while there. Of course creating art was my priority and Hagop gave me have a small studio space. I was constantly on the go, taking the train out into the country visiting family and many cathedrals. Some good times Hagop, I’ll be the first one to sign up if you ever plan another. This was taken with the idea of Pictorialism in mind. A practice used at the turn of the 1900’s to give photography an entrance into the art world and compete with painting. I was not always a mindful parent. My daughter was 2.5 years old when I started to understand how my childhood had impacted me and how showing up with my daughter would affect her. I slowly started changing how I would communicate with her and those around me. I was mindful of the words I used around her. I saw her as a little human, not an extension of me or someone I had to save. It was hard to take these steps, but I could see how my past was still haunting me, and I did not want to pass my baggage to my child, so I knew I needed to put in the work to stop the patterns I’d seen repeating themselves. I celebrate the journey I’ve been on as it has allowed me to break the cycle for my daughter and the generations to come after her. Being a cycle breaker and a mindful parent does not mean I’m zen all the time; I am human and have my outburst moments, too. However, I can reconnect with myself quickly, apologise to my daughter for my outburst and explain what was going on for me when I snapped at her. As a mindful parent, it is essential to understand that it is not our children’s job to make us happy, but we must make ourselves happy by fulfilling our unmet needs. Когда я была маленькой, на вопрос кем ты хочешь быть, я отвечала - учительницей. Когда я пошла в школу, как вы догадались, желание быть учительницей быстро пропало🤭Однако, на тот же вопрос у меня был готов уже новый ответ - хочу быть хорошим человеком. С годами и опытом я стала понимать, что хорошим человеком стать невозможно: в одной системе ценностей ты супер хороший, в другой - просто хороший, а в каких то и вовсе нехороший человек, редиска😁Причем все три оценки тебя возможны на абсолютно одно и то же твоё действие: всё зависит чьими глазами эта оценка даётся, какой опыт прошли эти глаза и много от чего еще…Вот и приплыли как говорится. Кто то так и продолжает «плавать» до конца жизни, определяясь, кто он и кем же хочет быть, чего хочет от жизни, кто-то останавливается на одной из мерных клеток своей или чужой системы координат, я же… Думаю, что приходим мы, рождаясь, не столько за тем, чтобы быть для кого-то хорошим, родить потомство, построить дом и посадить дерево, сколько понять «кто я» через свою душу и услышать чего же она хотела, идя в этот мир. Не разумом мы отличны от живого, а душой☝🏻Только сделанное совместно с душой остается жить в вечности. Только у своей души вы можете узнать кто же вы, какой вы и зачем вы здесь. Это сложно. Привычнее жить головой: делать как все, быть как все, думать как все, убрать лишнее, не обращать внимания, копировать, подстраиваться. Местами - больно и страшно: быть одиноким, непонятым, отвергнутым, повергнутым критикой. А в конце - разочарованным.. в себе, что сделал не всё или вообще не сделал хоть что-то из того, что всю жизнь хотел, к чему душа тебя так и тянула, а голова дала готовый продуманный отказ. Не сейчас. Лишнее. Не как у всех. Я хочу быть собой. Таков мой ответ сейчас. Со всем спектром моих эмоций, глубины и чувственности, которая мне присуща, с огромным запасом любви и заботы, терпения и трудолюбия, кладези опыта и невероятной интуиции, детской открытостью и широко распахнутыми глазами, смотрящими на звёзды…И я обязательно к ним дойду🌌чего и вам всем желаю♥️

Bà bô gào khóc như đứa trẻ vì gọi mãi hắn không thưa, càng thấy bà bô đến gần thì lại càng chạy ra xa. Trời tối, đồng không mông quạnh, bà bô chỉ thấy hắn thoắt ẩn thoắt hiện. Tiếng chuông cổ bà bô chỉ nghe thấy 1 lần duy nhất, rồi bặt tăm, gọi tên Sữa trong vô vọng. Bà bô còn nghĩ tới cảnh xách vali về quê với ông bà ngoại nếu không thấy Sữa, bởi hắn là sợi dây duy nhất khiến bà bô ở lại và cũng là niềm hạnh phúc bự chảng của bà bô. Sau nhiều “nỗ lực tìm kiếm” của bác Bon, bác Ngân, Cookie trong 2 tiếng rưỡi đồng hồ và Nai (được triệu hồi phút chót) thì Sữa lợn cũng tự mò ra cạnh các bác, vẫy đuôi khí thế và không chịu lên xe bà bô. Suốt đường về, hắn im re, không dám ngoái đầu nhìn bà bô. Về nhà tự giác đứng cạnh vòi nước vì lúc này, hắn không khác gì “gà bọc đất”. Đói, Sữa lợn không dám đòi, bà bô cho hạt ỉu xìu từ hôm trước vẫn cắm đầu ăn dù trệu trạo. Thi thoảng liếc liếc bà bô xem có được “ưu ái” tẹo nào không. “Không!” - là câu trả lời bởi “bạn xứng đáng”. Tắm xong cũng không vòi bà bô lau người với sấy, tự nằm ngoài sân hóng gió trời. Nghĩ cũng thương vì các bạn đồng quê đều được chạy lang bang trừ hắn. Mà chạy tới cảnh bắt hắn về là hết thương. Giờ thì trời cũng mưa vài hạt y cuộc đời hài kịch của bà bô.
