Efter att ha sett ungefär hälften (numera klart allt) av den nya Netflix-serien "I dina händer", där bl.a. @ardalanesmaili och @beri_gerwise medverkar, så slog det mig idag att dagens minderåriga i våra utsatta områden är i princip en "utrotningshotad art", för att citera den amerikanska rapparen @icecube (Endangered Species). Min generation och uppåt har klarat sig relativt hyfsat, tack vare det numera utdaterade svenska folkhemmet. Men de yngre är det nästan kört för, bara i tanke på hur minderåriga dras in i gängkriminalitet innan de har något att själva säga till om. Och så blir hela deras familjer potentiella måltavlor. Sverige har en helt annan historia än USA, men trots det är vår situation skrämmande lik den i Staterna för 30 år sedan. Netflix-dokumentären "Crack" speglar vår situation bra också. Jag med mitt bagage finner tröst i avslutet där de deltagande berättar hur gick för dem senare i livet. Detta ska inte skuldbeläggas på den breda, vita medelklassen. Det är snarare våra politiker genom decennierna, på båda sidorna, samt dagens vuxna kriminella som kunde åtminstone ha haft en aning mer empati likt gårdagens gangsters, numera inlåsta eller pensionerade. Det hade varit uppskattat ändå. På 90-talet fanns inte sociala medier, och i Staterna bor folk avsevärt mer avlägset från varandra geografiskt, låt vara i gänghuvudstaden Los Angeles. På den tiden var folk snarare okunniga. Dåtidens gangsterrap var långt ifrån lika utbrett som dagens. Å andra sidan är vi idag snarare apatiska inför allt vi ser och hör varje dag, på skärmen, på nyheterna. Jag har inte minst gjort mig skyldig till det. Kunskap är halva vinsten, men bara halva. Den andra halvan är knappast till för precis alla, heller inte detsamma. Våran medelklass har inte samma lyx som gårdagens i USA att känna sig trygga från det här i vart fall.

~ En tus manos ~ Intensa. Un niño yace boca abajo frente a un columpio, mientras su vida se escurre por la herida abierta en su cabeza, y su mejor amigo está de pie detrás de él con una pistola caliente en su mano temblorosa. Miniserie de Suecia que se estrenó hoy en Netflix. Thriller de intriga, crímenes y drama. La serie está buena. Bien realizada y con el ritmo típico que encontramos en los contenidos nórdicos: por momentos cocinados muy a fuego lento pero igualmente intensa. Creo que acá esa narrativa ayuda al principio para ser el gancho que atrape aunque tal vez en la mitad haga que sea medio pesada. No porque la historia no siga su curso sino porque con el drama social que muestra tal vez el clima que llegan a generar termina siendo agobiante. Eso lo digo como positivo y negativo a la vez. A mi me gustó. Creo que es un contenido clásico: prolijo, que empieza y termina sin dejar cabos sueltos y que no abusa de su duración. Tal vez me decís: “menos capítulos hubiese sido mejor”, pero yo creo que están bien divididos para desarrollar puntualmente a los personajes y a los sucesos. Con respecto a la estructura también es la típica: partimos de un acontecimiento principal y desde ahí vamos y venimos en el tiempo para ver cómo es que se llegó hasta ahí y por otra parte las consecuencias de aquello. Insisto con que es un poco pesada, cargada del drama social que quieren representar y que la historia no es precisamente una comedia. Pero esta buena. Это истинно скандинавский продукт - мрачный, атмосферный, интрига сюжета раскручивается неторопливо и размеренно, но верно, удерживая внимание от серии к серии. Смотреть было действительно интересно, порой жутковато, порой неприятно. Но очень хотелось узнать, что произошло на самом деле. До последней серии было неясно, кто же виноват в пропажи младенца. И за время просмотра я меняла своё мнение несколько раз. Все мои предположения оказались только предположениями, не имеющими ничего общего с тем, что показали в самом конце. Финал получился совершенно неожиданным и шокирующим. В сериале столько тем затронуто, которые заставляют размышлять, думать, рассуждать. Актёрский состав, на мой взгляд, хорошо справился со своей работой. Глубочайшее раскрытие характеров персонажей. Этот сериал зайдёт не Всем, думаю. Но любителям холодного скандинавского кино, рекомендую. Не рекомендую впечатлительным, мамочкам и тем кто находится в интересном положении, тем кто болезненно относится к детской тематике. Ok up next while browsing through Hulu I found the next film on my list that I’m going to watch next! From 2019, "Sea Fever"! I remember seeing the trailer for his phone back in 2019 and way to patiently for the debut somewhere so I can watch it, wether it was on home video or through streaming. Thankfully I can finally watch it now thanks to steaming. I don’t know much about the film but I guess that’s better to go in with little to no knowledge so I don’t know what to expect then! I do know there’s definitely some sort of creature so that is enough to sell me in it! A first time watch for Irish Sci-fi / Horror Sea Fever (2019) over on Amazon Prime. Not a bad little film this one. A fishing boat becomes stranded in the deep Atlantic and the crew soon discover that a luminescent tentacled creature has a hold of the trawler. The creature proceeds to infect the ships water supply with a parasitic infection which is slowly killing off the crew and making them stir crazy. There's even a 'The Thing' esq test to determine who is infected.
