There are so many muscles which originate or insert into the pelvis, that it is no surprise that when tightness occurs due to overload, then the surrounding muscles are affected too. This then leads to muscle imbalance which in turn leads to a decrease in function. Some of the symptoms you may be experiencing if you have pelvic muscle imbalance: 1. Tight adductors 2. Lateral and medial knee pain 3. Tight glutes/hamstrings 4. Lower back pain Overuse can create compensation to occur – the hip flexors, which play a huge role in spinal flexibility and pelvic muscle balance, adapt to a lengthened position which can cause shortening of the hamstrings, so placing increased load elsewhere in the body. Improvements to the cycle facilities at Lower Moutere are being welcomed by users. We’ve set up a new separated cycle path opposite the On the Spot store at Main Road Lower Moutere. The work has a twofold purpose. It’s designed for cyclists’ safety and at the same time to ensure car parking is retained. People who regularly ride through the area reckon it’s a great improvement, especially for students choosing to ride to Lower Moutere School. They’ve told us that it’s now a much safer path. The shop is a very popular food stop often for people in a hurry and the ‘No Parking on Cycleway’ signs were regularly ignored. Было очень много завалов - иногда приходилось спешиваться с велосипеда и оббегать завал по газону. По данным медиков - 60 человек получили различные травмы, знакомый сломал ключицу, врезавшись в скалу. There are many many books written about Canadian railways that include the E&N. Do we need to create a special "For Dummies" edition for the Federal Government? I was given a book called "Dominion, the railway and the rise of Canada" by Transport Action Canada when Terry Johnson came out to check out the E&N railway. It's a really good read. I understand how cycling is an important part of how people enjoy the beauty of Mallorca and how it contributes to its economy. And I believe locally as well as globally, cyclists and the cycling industry need to step up for #peopleandplanet. So here’s a photo of the litter discarded on the Es Grau route (uphill of 3,2km..maybe many of the 8000 competitors may have not reached this point) (I cleaned the route beforehand, so this photo of today (day after race ) is fresh #312 crap). 🚴🏻♀️184 discarded gel wrappers 🚴🏻♀️Which equates to 57.5 wrappers per kilometre. 🚴🏻♀️Over 312 kms, this means at least 18,000 discarded gels over the entire route. 🚴🏻♀️41% of wrappers are @226ers - a silver sponsor of the race. VANCOUVER ISLAND 2030 In a joint statement just last year, the BC Minster of Transportation and Infrastructure and the Federal Minister of Transportation recognized the strategic significance of the Vancouver Island Railway and mentioned the population is expected to be 1 million by 2030. That's 240,000 more people since 2011 when passenger services had to stop due to track conditions. Yesterday the petition reached 15,000 signatures, today we've added 275 more so far.
