I emailed ahead to ask about gluten free options and the owner promptly replied with a whole list of delicious options. I chose the Korean Chicken burger, which was delicious and so fresh. My family enjoyed, Trout with garlic prawns, homemade Venison pie and Chicken and ham hock pie. All of the meals were absolutely delicious. The service was faultless. The atmosphere was great. At the start of the year on a trip back from the North Carolina Mountains, Jacob and I sparked a conversation about potentially starting our own Airbnb. We rushed home, made a spreadsheet of everything we thought we would need, and Jacob made the final decision if he was ready to give up “the shop”. It was a project we were eager for and quickly started to order everything we could online. Three months later, we are proud to share the finished project of “Star Buck Cabin - A Cabin in Star NC”. With close proximity to the Uwharrie National Forest, North Carolina Zoo, and the pottery capital of the country, Seagrove NC, we are excited to host those venturing to the “center of the state”. After a day of exploring, we invite our guests to enjoy time in the hot tub, read a book on the patio swing gifted by Jacob’s parents, grill out, or cozy up by the fireplace to watch TV. Regardless, adventures await our guests at “Star Buck Cabin”. On a final note, thank you to all who were involved and supported us along the way. We truly could not have done this without the advice from the local Economic Development, other vacation rental hosts, and those who helped physically to make the space it is today.
