✨A great place to start with shadow work is asking yourself what do you judge other people for? ⚡️Anytime you hold a judgement of another person there is going to be some kind of a corresponding wound inside of yourself: something that you don’t love, accept or tolerate within yourself. 💫Remember, this isn’t going to be obvious, because the very nature of shadow is denial. So whatever the thing that you’re judging someone for - you’re going to think, believe or say (very strongly) “I am nothing like that. I would never do that. I can’t believe he/she ____________”. 👉This is what shadow is. But once you integrate a shadow, the judgement of “I am nothing like that. I would never do that. I can’t believe he/she ____________” turns into “I can see how I’m also like that. I can understand why that person did that. I get how that person would/is/does_________”. ⚡️And then instead of judgement - you have acceptance, understanding and compassion towards the person/situation/thing but also towards yourself. ✨Because all judgement is self judgement and your ability to love and accept others is a direct reflection of your ability to love and accept yourself (warts and hairs and all). 👉 l have been working on a YouTube video about Shadow Work for MONTHS…. You may not know this man, but I bet you've tried, or at least heard, of #rescueremedy This is the doctor that founded the Bach range; Dr Edward Bach. He was a doctor with a prestigious Harley Sy medical practice after world war 1. At the time he was a bacteriologist and immunologist. He was researching intestinal flora of the gestational tract...(can you imagine in 1916, this was Dr Bach's field: Over 100 years ago!!) He began to notice that the quality of a person gut bacteria played a huge role in illness and disease. Gut flora was so different from person to person and, of course, according to their health. He was a pioneer in discovering the Bach Nosodes, which where distinctive gut bacteria to certain groups of illness. The fecal transplants that we see today stem from Dr Bach's research 100 years ago. If you're not noticing yet: Dr Edward Bach was a trailblazer. Very ahead of his time. He started to believe that all disease starts with a disruption in the spirit. If modern medicine was curing just the body and NOT the mind and spirit as well, he felt this was not a thorough healing. Bach noticed patients cured of arthritis but they'd still have a mental outlook of depression and hopelessness. (This wasn't enough for him) He knew it all starts in the spirit, mind, the psyche FIRST, then the body would heal itself. He sold his practice and moved to the English countryside where he formulated 38 specific #floweressences to heal people of their current states of shock, anger, anxiety etc The Bach flower remedies had a major impact on people.
