The movie called “Unsung Hero” have just have gotten done watching this movie. Man so beautiful here and strong family united there. It’s was soo touching and so emotional and instantly and inspirational for my journey adventure of my faith move here to. In the middle of it. I have gone through the ups and downs for things not as much that small bone family have gone through too. As I look back in July 2023 having a family who sorta understandings what God is doing in my life. There are so much protection on my dad and grandparents for this. But there was nothing better to have my dad drop me off at the airport for the moving into with my mom here. It’s been almost 10 months here. As I am having been slowing down and being still with god to resting brain of mine and it’s been such a beautiful less stressful time now and more settled now. Boy this is a powerfully beautiful one for me because I was in this move here and about to go and start the process of the move and getting settled. I seen this photo of this early today and thinking about the family support on this. But they are trying to believe and understand this whole God thing here. But this was god ordeal with this photo to because I never have my parents in the same place especially in the car for the longest time here to. But this I never did posted this and I am looking at this beautiful picture of my dad and my mom too. That movie have really brought such a emotional impact for the middle of my faith moves and still in the thick of my transition of my life of what god is really doing here but it’s been so life bringing to me here. I am moving closer and deeper into the relationship with god and seen god moved in my life and seen the lord provided a church around me and the embraced me and praying for me and giving life giving words for supporting me in the way which I needed to much with. There is something special about God's lovingkindness. God is always good. He is always just. He delights in mercy. I’ve started casually referring to myself as a “cynical idealist,” aka: someone who fervently longs for perfection, utopia, untainted beauty, and wholehearted love at every turn. Yet, someone who also has been burned—more than a few times—by lesser, broken versions of those very same things. It’s resulted in a strange juxtaposition—a wrestling duality—between light and dark; contentment and despair; hope and fatalism. Additionally, I’ve been coming to terms with the fact that I don’t actually have that much faith, if the definition of faith is “the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Now, in my 30s, I’ve experienced enough of this world to have tasted (and recoiled at) its bitterness: the way best-laid plans can go awry; the way we don’t always get what we want; and how the masks people wear can be so deep, so pervasive and convincing, that when the real person underneath is finally revealed, you’re left reeling and wondering and questioning your entire reality. It’s hard to have faith, to have hope for the impossible good, when you’ve tasted so much bitterness. It’s easy to sink into a sort of apathetic resignation. But I don’t think any of us wants to live this way. My not-so-secret truth is that I DO hope for more. I DO long for more. I got these cute little faux leather mini journals from Coffee and Bible Time. These are so stinking cute and perfect for memorizing Scripture. So I’m working on memorizing Romans 1,8, 12. I’m determined but what should I work on in the second mini journal? My pastor is starting a new series in James next week. It might be a fun challenge to try and see how much of James I can memorize. Yikes. These journals are super cute and super inexpensive !!! The paper quality and the leather wrap-around tie is really nice quality. I ordered mine from their shop on Amazon, but you can also order directly off of their website, too. My cup overflows. One of the things I’m realizing is that I love living so much I want to do all the things, and if I don’t schedule that time for rest, I’ll burn out. Or my body will decide for me, as evidenced by this week’s flare. What would it look like if we valued rest and slowness as much as we value doing and producing? For anyone else feeling like the big, heavy, hard stuff can overshadow the smaller, simpler, modest moments… I wanted to offer a reminder, as much for you as for me, that if there was no light at all, a shadow wouldn’t exist. I know that sometimes it can feel impossible to see beyond the thing that is creating a shadow and blocking the light. Yet, when we find ourselves feeling lost in the “shadows” of life, it’s helpful to remember that they only exist because light has STILL found a way to bend and break through… Darkness saturates. And it can absolutely feel all consuming. But LIGHT penetrates! However, I find it fascinating (purposeful?) that people are one of the things light cannot pass through. And, so, what we cannot do for ourselves, God did for us. He sent the light of the world. To dwell among us. And in us. And through us. The light offered to us in Christ can overcome every shadow. If you stop to think about it… When the sun hangs low on the horizon, shadows are longer. As the sun rises higher, shadows shrink. There is a living wisdom breathing through our patterns and defenses. They are either trying to keep us safe or, often unconsciously, attempting to resolve a loss or hurt from the past. From this lens, we can view the wisdom in codependency as an intelligence in the psyche that is attempting to solve the lack of love from the past by seeking resolution in familiar dynamics in the present, which often feel "safe,” even it they aren't good for us. We might find ourselves with people who do not have the same vision of relationship or do not want the same things as us. The relationship becomes an attachment that revolves around which vision of relationship will win. Any relationship based on the need for someone to abandon themselves is not rooted in love. This dynamic is driven by a part it us who wants to "win, " be in control, or be "chosen” in order to somehow get this love they never got, to feel worthy. To complete the loop of a lack of love from the past. Sometimes the reason for certain relationships in our lives isn't what the ego thinks, but a deeper wisdom, and liberation, vying for our attention. This is the same with emotional unavailability and most attachment styles. Our patterns are designed to protect our deep hurt while trying to resolve it at the same time. Codependency dynamics are not love, but rather attachments mistaken as love because of the familiar intensity wanting to resolve itself. This is why it can feel like an addiction. Why we think we can't let go of someone. Its not about them, but what they represent. That drive becomes our higher power, rather than turning to the love of the Divine itself. More below...

Let's talk about being a 💛 BUILDER. We're all on a journey when it comes to Bible study and it's critical to know where we are on what I call the Bible Study Boulevard. 📍 Once we know WHERE we are, we can better know WHAT to do. 💖 Our Bible study journey starts first with being aCRAVER - this is the place where we're ready to take our faith seriously and begin investing in our spiritual life. 💛 This quickly leads us to becoming a BUILDER. This is a crucial stage many try to skip over. Perhaps you can identify with the following: 💁🏻♀️You become a CRAVER. 🙌🏻 You are excited to do this Bible study thing. 💪🏻 You long to grow spiritually and are ready to do what it takes. 📖 You grab a Bible study. 📝 Or start a Bible reading plan. 🎉 You're SO excited! 😞 But a week later you're “behind” and discouraged. 😫 Overwhelmed and confused. We are limited beings and taking up something new takes time and effort. Studying the Bible is not a simple task. It takes skill, tools, resources, and time. So, before we start studying, we need to start first with building the habit of showing up daily. 👉🏻 Building a new habit is hard enough on its own. 👈🏻 We need to establish a habit before we start diving into new study methods. That's why I provide SHORT reading plans in the HUB for the 💛 BUILDER. (Some as short as five days!) It may feel like you're not moving forward very quickly, but skipping this step will keep you from making progress long-term. Don't underestimate the power of accomplishing quick wins! Complete a five-day reading plan, then move on to the next. Then try out one that is a bit longer. Build momentum. Build the habit. We're in a marathon, not a sprint. So let's start with consistently waking around the block first. “I don’t want to be a mom someday, because then you won’t be my mom.” We were in the middle of teeth brushing and all the general busyness of getting a handful of kids to bed at the same time, but my five-year-old’s words stopped me short. From the worried expression on her face to the tearful sound of her voice, I could sense this was one of those moments that I needed to simply stop what I was doing and have a conversation. “Baby, I know that you’ve talked about wanting to be a mommy for a long time. Even if you became a mommy, I would still be yours, too.” “But then you’re going to DIE!” I had to hide a small smile as I picked up my daughter and set her on the counter in front of me so I could look her straight in the eyes. “Yes, mommy could die someday. But I want you to know something—no matter what happens or what the future holds, you will always, always be my daughter. Nothing can ever change that.” And the weight of my own words hit me. I’m His daughter—and no storm or circumstance or anything else in this world can ever change that. How often do we walk through life forgetting that? How often do we fall for fear or anxiety as we think about what the future may hold? I don’t know what kinds of storms or trials you may be facing right now, but this is my prayer for you—that you would have a rock-solid confidence of who you are and who God is. Storms may come and the winds may blow, but this is what is forever true: we are His.

Have you ever been told to make a choice and love your choice? Don't change your mind. Don't be seen as fickle. Don't change direction. You chose it now stay with it. This was your choice...live with it. You will NEVER get this opportunity again. Me too. I believed these words for so long. God doesn't expect you to stay the course especially if the course is incorrect for you. How many doors do you think He has reopened for you? How many times have you been brought back to experience something again, but with you making different choices than before? So, why do we believe we have no other choice? You do.
