Welcome to Fatherhood.. How will you remember those first weeks and months of your baby's life? . A lot of new fathers and seasoned ones, find it very uncomfortable being in front of a camera, or even in the room with one! . Well, I just wanted to reassure you all that, when I get together with your new family for a newborn shoot, there is absolutely no pressure to be in any of the photos I take. . Either in your home or out in the countryside, I never ask anyone to pose. I simply encourage my clients to focus on the baby and immerse themselves in the wonder and awe of these incredible moments. . My photography style is very 'fly on the wall' and I am with you for this little bit of time, to capture your real life moments. And I want you to be able to look back on this experience with warmth, while you reminisce about how that tiny head felt in your hands. . During our shoot, I often spend the first half an hour warming up with mum and the baby and this will give you the opportunity to observe my process and feel more comfortable about participating. This beautiful family has been in front of my camera so many times now! Yesterday was a special one - a session all about Miss O! Not even 2 weeks earthside and she was perfect! Slept even with all the noise around her! Can't thank my amazing clients for coming back to me again and again! This session was done at my cabin I hire in Mt Crosby. It has chickens, ducks and turkeys and a ton of space for your little ones to run around imbetween photos! It has so many sweet spots to use! Il campeggio è un luogo di incontro, di persone, di storie… La scorsa settimana abbiamo ascoltato quella di Kim e Valeria, i proprietari di @pignafelice: si sono conosciuti proprio in questo camping e quando Kim ha deciso di costruire qualcosa di suo, è voluto partire proprio da qui… Prima del Covid lo spazio per cucinare era condiviso, perché il campeggio è condivisione: di spazi, di esperienze, di passione! C’è la storia di due famiglie del nord Europa che si sono conosciute qui d’estate e poi si sono ritrovate per Natale, c’è la storia di chi ritorna ogni anno e vuole sempre la stessa tenda… Anche noi qui abbiamo scritto un pezzettino della nostra storia: la prima volta in campeggio della picci è un’esperienza che rimarrà per sempre nel nostro cuore. Anouk‘s heart jumped when she saw some kids speaking her language. She ran to the four older girls and said: hello, I have something for you. She took a peach pit out of the pocket of her dress and said: Here, a peach pit. You can put it in the ground and plant your own peach tree. They nodded politely and didn‘t bother about her anymore..I admire her for her courage to get in contact with strangers with such a fabulous gesture…we then decided to go to the peach tree to pick more peaches. I will pick peaches for all kids she said and when her sun hut was full she decided to be a horse that rides the peaches to the kids..as she lost her peaches out of her horse bag she decided to be a market vendor instead. The Story Continues 6. Milestones ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It always feels significant to me, when babies start to lift their head up off the floor, while lying on their tummies. Before this point they seem to be so uncomfortable with the whole idea and end up burying their faces in the carpet, while shouting a baby's equivalent of obscenities!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Anyway, at the age of 4 months, the whole exercise seems infinitely more humane and I adore this pose with those beautiful little eyes expressing confident delight at the achievement of lifting a head that is proportionately way too big for her body. Well, at least that's my interpretation of her expression and I remember at the time that's how it felt.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Documenting these milestones is a wonderful way to remember how they grew. This photo was taken with window light and minimal props in order to keep everything simple and real.
