In a world where Social gets so demonized, I am so grateful for the accounts I follow that help me in these tough seasons of motherhoodβ embarking on toddler years has been a total trip, especially learning how to navigate it as a solo-parent while my husband is deployed. Sarah is really growing into her own person. So much desire for independence, needing help but not wanting it, and the big feelings + tantrums. Oh, the tantrums. And because of an account I follow, I was able to sit with her through a tantrum start to finish and actually come out of it with her in agreement to what I wanted to happen, even somewhat on her terms. It was nothing short of a mini miracle! And earlier a situation occurred where an entire shaker of βsprinklesβ [see photo + video.. def not sprinkles] was emptied onto the kitchen table. I summoned my inner calm realizing sheβs βexperimentingβ And learning, knowing I can easily sweep it afterwardsβ¦ even though housekeeping had literally JUST left our house spotless π© So while there may be many reasons why one doesnβt care for and even avoids social media, shout out to those contributing GOOD and reputable content to the world.
