Sandra Blakemore is the Commissioner of the Department of Human Resources, serving the City’s 31,000 employees. Her goal is to make Chicago a transparent and equitable employer for all residents. Chicago sisters! This is the LAST CALL to join our 3-month (in-person) Sacred Sister Membership Circle. The theme for our first circle, which is tomorrow, is RETURNING TO COMMUNITY. Soul-nourishing community and sisterhood is a deep human need, and yet so much of what we call “community” is anything but soul-nourishing. These circles are the antidote.
