Here I am trying the things so you don’t have to! I can’t remember who…. something off of Meta got me to buy these right after the holidays from @carryhitch. I have usually a yeti/stanley and a coffee cup if I am out for more than 4 hours. Times that by two and you’re out of cup holders in the car. My husband carries two metal water bottles almost at all times PLUS his tea cup so I thought... Maybe this is an alternative for day trips? Airport? I like the shade of black. I like the concept. It’s heavy and kinda clunky to work with. I paid Instagram prices… but did get a sale at the time. I give it a B for every day use. Will it Disney? ✨BIG MOM TIP ✨ If you look closely at this picture you will notice my son wearing head phones. He doesn’t have sensory issues or is sensitive to noise normally BUT right before I took this photo he had grabbed his ears ( slide to see next ) photo and then eventually started to cry because of how loud the noise from the parade floats were. He has never had noise issues with the parades so this was a surprise. Luckily I grabbed these head phones last minute because he is scared of the firework booms at night. Sensory things your kids may not have an issue with other places may be different at Walt Disney World and Disneyland . We were in a narrow path between buildings so I am sure the noise was intensified by that . Add all of the extra stimulation and a child who usually doesn’t have sound sensitivities can now have an issue. You can buy noise canceling headphones phones or like us we use the head phones that plug into our kids screens . Now those don’t remove the sound completely like noise canceling but they help enough , at least with our kids . This is something you probably didn’t realize and so we hope this tip helps you plan a little better for those little ones! 🤔 What are other things you noticed that bother you child at Disney that doesn’t other places? As the warmer months in Florida approach- your packing list will be different than the cooler months! April - October are the months that I consider to be warmest (and crazy hot in the dead of summer June-September) of course but the packing should be the same throughout! 1. Cooling fans! Hop on Amazon (Storefront in my bio) and grab a neck and or a handheld fan. They work wonders. 2. Lighter bags for your park days. Large backpacks I would avoid! Fanny packs/loungeflys- don’t lug around a large bag on your back 3. Refillable Water bottles - don’t forget to stay hydrated ESPECIALLY in the hottest months 3. Bathing Suits - take a rest day and enjoy that resort pool! 4. Tank tops, T shirts and Shorts! I am always cold but even in the evenings I don’t wear hoodies. Maybe skip the hoodies & give yourself an excuse to buy merch if one evening is cooler than expected 😏 5. Cooling Towels- If you think you’d need one of these, buy them in advance from Amazon because they are pricey in the parks 6. Ponchos- skattered Florida showers are common. Wondering what to pack for your Disney vacation? I have you covered. With 3-4 trips a year under my belt, I would consider myself an expert. I will admit I am a little crazy when it comes to packing for Disney. I plan outifts and coordinate accessories by each day’s activities. I pack all of my items in clear Ziploc bags to save room in my luggage and keep everything organized. I put my outfit in the same bag as any accessories I plan to wear that day. I pack at least two outfits per day for Annabelle and at least 1.5 for Mitch and I. We find that showering and changing midway through the day incredibly refreshing in the Florida heat. I also bring a light sweater no matter what the weather because the air conditioning can get pretty cold. Ready to learn more? These are my and my kids’ bags for our upcoming one week trip to Disney, so you could say I’m a light packer. Even so, these are the things I never travel to Disney without. What would you add to the list? ☔️Ponchos because you never know when you will get caught in a FL shower 🥤Refillable water cups so you can fill up at the resort or in the parks 👕Layers for any winter or early spring trip because temperatures in the morning and evening can be chilly 📱Portable phone bank for charging on the go because the My Disney Experience app is draining on the phone battery! 🫧 Bubbles or bubble wands for keeping young kids entertained in lines 🍿Snacks/breakfast bars to hold us over until we get our grocery delivery 💊Headache medicine and bandaids - I carry these things everywhere so of course they come with me to Disney 😁 🚘 Inflatable car booster seat if we don’t have a car and either don’t want to use the park shuttle or won’t have access to a shuttle - these really come in handy when using Uber or Lyft! 🚶♀️Stroller for kids 8 and under - Disney is just so much walking for little legs!
