Do you ever just truly reflect on life?? How fleeting it is?. Some don't have a Long life ..die at such young ages. Teen..maybe their 20s, 30s... when you hear, of someone who passed at 45 ... heck 55 . You go ..so what happened ? Because it's premature. The beauty of aging ..is you've seen . You've experienced. You've tasted life. You know life is exquisite. I'm fortunate to truly thus far lived a good good life. I'm grateful . The things I totally worried about as a younger version of myself . I don't have the same worry.. at 58. I used to be a exercise die hard perfectionist .. never miss a day ! But as I've aged .I give myself a break if I don't feel well...or not too perky for the day. I can now skip a day. !! Or just go on a walk. Not killing myself at the gym at 5 am workout times. I lift ..but it's a few times a week. At a slower pace maybe. But dang for a older lady.. I'm proud of me and what my body can do !!! I walk . I jump rope ... I'm active. But I don't beat myself up anymore. Hey ..I look pretty darn good ...because I still care for myself. I eat well. But I prioritize ... God.. my life in all dimensions. My husband of 40 yrs. 40!!!!!!. My adult children..my grandchildren.. parents siblings. My loves of Art..cooking.. exploring...learning. may those continue. I'm into self improvement not perfection.
