We have about 70,000 thoughts a day around 300 mph 🤯 WOW! So no wonder there is a lot going on that we might not catch or even recognize is shaping our current reality and state of our body. AND since most of our programming and auto-pilot reactions come from our childhood and what we experienced it can be easy for us to continue to blame the past. However, that won’t actually do much for us nor will it truly allow us to heal and create the change we want to see in our lives. So how do we do that? Our mind and body have a biofeedback loop so that they are constantly communicating with each other, sending signals, and then adapting to that information and every thought we have has a nuerochemical response. This lovely process of communication happens through your nervous system. And if you’re still telling and running stories from the past… then your mind and body will continue to serve you those same results. 80% of the communication between our brain and body is BODY TO BRAIN… meaning that our physiology has a very big impact on the thoughts we are creating. If the body is constantly in survival then our thoughts and ideas will be sourced from that state. So you can only imagine how that will create more stress, tension, or dis-ease in the body and how those actions will create the reality of survival in our life. When working through the nervous system to create more coherence, resilience, and adaptability we are able to operate from a much more connected state and our body and the world around us begin to reflect that. Yesterday I was listening to one of my favorite podcasts and one reoccurring theme that was coming up was energy work. How no matter how badly we want something, if our energy isn’t in the right frequency or if we aren’t truly aligned with said ‘thing’ that we want… we will never have it. Another great insight was once you do get said ‘thing’ do you have the correct energy to be able to keep it? Here’s why I absolutely LOVE this + find it so fcking important…. You can want something… so badly it’s all you think about or dream about… and you may even be taking the action steps into having it…. But if you aren’t aligned energetically to WHY you want it, will that fire burn out? Will you eventually not want that anymore? Or maybe… Will it eventually not be enough and you’ll want more? (Hello gratitude) Now the easiest example is money.. say you want to bring in more money. Say you actually achieve this but then before you know it, you’ve burned through it quicker than a greased pig. You weren’t aligned energetically. You weren’t on the level of frequency to be able to hold and sustain what you wanted bec your awareness and why were clouded. We can tune in to the energy of each of our chakras while connecting to the feeling tone of each of these “I” statements. Shhh just feel, be with. Not for the purpose of becoming “spiritual” or connected to “energy” in a spiritually materialistic way - but in a down to earth, lucid to the present lived experience we are having, what we need, where we are at and how we are moving through life and the world. We can become more attuned to our energy and then the exchange of energy in our relationships. Checking up on their state of balance and of harmony. The flow between us and another. Also, we can recognise where we are mostly abiding. Where is our energy most focussed or located. Recognising this helps us balance the life force of that energy centre by properly meeting ourselves. Switching pretty drastically from a very masculine world to a very feminine world within this past year has opened up a lot for me. I lived constantly trying to prove myself. Thinking I was confident and self assured because that was the mask I put on. That mask ran deep. A thick layer of logic, assertiveness, and impatience ran through me. While I respect masculine energy, I was too out of balance. Not knowing how it felt to be really nurtured. I’m seeing how strong the feminine is now. And looking back, when I was more myself and acting on intuition and allowing natural creation was when I felt more at ease and in power at the same time. It’s when good things started happening in flow. Have respect for both. The masculine and the feminine. The strategy and the spirit. She messaged one of her beasties the moment the shift occurred saying that was the end and there was no way back. She knew it in her bones. That knowing was not something new she was accessing for the first time. She knew she could rely on it and that that was the TRUTH - how could she not trust on what her being was informing/telling her? That chapter had definitely closed and she knew how merciless and ruthless she would be perceived moving forward. She's been there, done that and couldn't care less about something she's already been through in the past. A new chapter was beginning and she could already feel the exhilarating mystery of the unknown calling her to dive deeper on her next adventure whatever would that be/look like. A week passed by after the shift and again sitted on her bed at 2am from the top of her lungs decreed out of nowhere she wanted to experience NEW things in her life that she has never experienced before. "Yes, you up there i know no thing about bring me the NEW. Give it to me". She's completely forgotten about it because in that moment she truly didn't needed anything new in her life. Her being during that week had gone through a massive calibration and she was at peace. Another week went by and Pedro appeared in her life. She felt Intrigued by his PRESENCE. He was so captivating without being so. All about him was... NEW to her. "Oh shit... I wasn't even thinking about a man or a relationship when I made that decree. The fawn response, also called the ‘please or appease’ response, often covers up internal distress and wounding due to trauma. Fawning is a common reaction to childhood trauma. It involves becoming highly agreeable or trying to appease a person or situation that is harmful or neglectful, which in the case of childhood trauma, would be the parent or caregiver that one depended on for survival. . It shows up as patterns of behavior in adulthood, such as an over dependence on the opinions of others, lack of boundaries, vulnerability to narcissistic or harmful people, feeling manipulated or controlled, and even becoming controlling or manipulative in an attempt to feel safe. . The fawn response often occurs in people who grew up with narcissistic parents. For the child who was abused, neglected or rejected, being helpful and agreeable was the only means of survival and retaining some semblance of love and connection. . One of the biggest problems with the fawn response is that it can cause codependent adults, loss of identity, and a sense of self-worth that is solely dependent on external sources of validation. It can result in feeling overly responsible for the emotions and lives of others, even foregoing ones own needs. . The fawn response might include thoughts like “It’s probably my fault” or “I need to find a way to fix the problem immediately” or “It’s not safe for other people to be upset, and especially not upset with me.” Other behaviors or beliefs associated with the fawn response are feeling responsible for managing the emotions of others, believing that not managing others’ emotions could compromise ones safety, excessive caution and hypervigilance in interactions with others, making decisions based on what others want rather than ones own needs, agreeing with others’ preferences rather than indicating ones own, becoming involved in conflict in an attempt to deescalate, even if not directly involved in the situation, and holding oneself personally responsible for other people’s behavior, emotions and reactions. . I am often asked during sessions 'how do you tune into what is going on with my body? so.. I thought I would share with you a little bit about my background beyond bodywork. Developing a deep consciousness with my body, and recognizing its position in space in the sense of body awareness has been a lifelong journey developed through the medium of dance. It has taught me how to use kinesthesia or direct connection to a persons physical and energetic bodies, and apply this knowledge with a deep sense of knowing. Beyond University and other formal qualifications and pieces of paper I have gained as a therapist, I hold this gift the closet to my heart. I often reflect how learning to drop into the direct connection of mind body and surrender, has both prepared me, and led me to work I do today. Are you self-rejecting? Chronic pain is a sign that your body is being weighted down with emotional energy that is draining. One thing I see so often in the industry, women being taken advantage of by coaches who promise the world and instead of actually giving them results they send their clients into a further shame spiral. Shame is already energetically a big enough repellant to your potential clients; we don't need to add more. So instead, I'm going to show you how to work in duality and guide you to your most expressed version of yourself. Have you ever wondered what it could feel like to acknowledge you could have done better and choose from that space moving forward rather than holding on to it? It is literally as simple as this. The part of you that wants to hold on and identify with the same is the Saboteur, and gosh she is powerful. However, did you know that the archetype of the saboteur transmutes into the Magician? You can activate the magician by bringing consciousness and awareness to what you are holding onto and giving it some love. By doing this you loosen the grip it has over you and you're able to release this and make better decisions. The simple act of getting curious with the choice you made can open worlds for you... So, without judgement, get quiet and ask.. "What was it that brought that particular behaviour through?" check in was it an emotion, reaction, old habit or to go even deeper an identity? The identities we hold can either move us closer to or further away from the truth of our leadership. They can keep us in patterns of holding ourselves back through judgement or our inability to harness our power.
