If you are seeing this, you’re probably an artist, or want to be one. Either way, that inclination toward self expression means you *have* a voice. That may come out of you as a song, or a brush stroke, in a poem, a photograph, a piece of choreography, or like my friend @emilygateley as one masterfully placed tear while inhabiting a character. In a therapy session a few years ago, my guy, seeing I was struggling, asked me, “what does it take to have a voice?” I was stumped. Silent. “Just that you speak,” he offered. That is the essence of self expression. But, maybe you happened upon this at a moment of wavering, unconfident in your voice, convinced it’s “not ready yet.” I have good news, that push to self express was not given to you FOR you, so let this be the kick in the pants you need. There are a bunch of people waiting for you to do what only you can do. When you find it tough to speak for you, remember, that’s not who your voice is for. It was given to you so you would speak for those who: 🔹will never get the opportunity to say their piece. 🔹haven’t found the courage yet. 🔹have a story, but haven’t found a way to tell it. 🔹haven’t been to therapy. 🔹didn’t have the guts to make a u-turn with their life. 🔹can’t stop beating themselves up, just like you used to do. 🔹heard “I am worthless,” but not “is a lie.” 🔹still believe the stories others whispered about them long ago, or just this morning. Just as there are a lot of willing parents who need surrogates to carry their baby into the world, we artists are surrogates to new life on behalf of the timid, the tired, the overlooked and ignored. They need your art to help them find their voice. Закат среди дикорастущих тюльпанов на берегу моря - картина, которую я раньше даже не мог вообразить. А оказалось, такое возможно в реальности. Видели ли вы где-нибудь такое сочетание? Пара удивительных фактов ⇣ Тюльпаны Шренка - уникальные цветы, так как, несмотря на свой нежный вид, способны вырастать без какой-либо помощи человека даже в самых некомфортных условиях. Им не страшны ни сильные ветра, ни соленая почва, ни большие перепады температур. А ещё говорят, что именно они стали прародителями знаменитых голландских тюльпановых полей. Представляете? По одной из версий, крымские тюльпаны сначала были вывезены и культивированы в Османской империи. А затем уже с турецких берегов перекочевали в европейские страны, в том числе попав и в Голландию, став там одним из современных национальных символов и визитной карточкой. Но как бы ни были живописны культурные плантации цветов, я никогда не перестану восхищаться сокровищами наших степей и берегов. Природная красота бесценна 😍. Какое фото вам понравилось больше всего? Такую гонку за цветениями он устроил всем фотографам, что еле успевали перемещаться с одного края полуострова на другой 😅. А дальше по курсу один из моих любимейших месяцев для путешествий по Крыму 🔥. Посмотрим, чем нас порадует май. В горных долинах уже появились ромашки, все вершины украсились свежей зеленью, а на городских клумбах «загорается» всё больше маков. »𝐋𝐚𝐯𝐚« — Iceland (2021) In March 2021, a volcanic eruption began in the Geldingadalir valley at Fagradalsfjall Mountain on the Reykjanes peninsula in Iceland. The volcano is only located 30 km from Reykjavík and the eruption lasted for several months, constantly changing the surrounding landscape. All photos were taken in Nátthagi valley where you could get really close to the fresh lava flow. If this valley is filled up with lava, the lava will flow down the mountains towards the ocean. I was most interested in getting as close as possible to the action and using a 500mm prime lens to capture those bizarre and beautiful details. The place absolutely exceeded my expectations and the variety of textures and shapes I did not expect. This kind of simultaneously beautiful but also brutal transience was the charm for me. And I was absolutely blown away by how quickly the lava field changed.
