When I look Back I choose to remember all of the good things about this time when I lived where I lived. The people & places I visited during this time. These memories don’t need reevaluating. • Life grew dark & dim only 5 months after this picture of excellent health was taken. I was lonely and feeling like every success I had hit just hadn’t been enough. I was 34 and I compared myself constantly to others who seemed farther ahead in their lives than I had. 14 months single and trying to do the “living as a nun thing”. 😬😭 Single mom living for 13 years I used as an excuse to feel sorry for myself. I made every excuse to fall down. I lived as a victim of my circumstances. •Today I remind myself it’s all possible to regain peace of mind, and a healthier state of being plus more strength in my soul than I imagined possible. because life took a turn toward challenges I never thought I’d face. Today I feel my inner strength and perseverance as a bonus as a result of those challenges and it allows me to rise up once again. • All things happen for a reason. To learn and grow from. There is more and more evidence coming to light about the links between chemicals we put on our bodies and health problems. People spend a lot of time considering what they put IN their bodies and probably considerably less time thinking about what they put ON them... As a busy mama, I’ve recently realized how important carving out at least 10 minutes a day of “me time” is. One thing that I absolutely make time for is my daily yoga, even if it’s only a 10 minute flow. When I got my yoga certification 5 years ago, it gave me the ability and ease to make my own routines every day. This included practicing throughout two pregnancies and post delivery. . Where am I going with this? More and more research is confirming that practicing yoga regularly is one of the best ways to improve your emotional and mental health. It can reduce pain and improve your mood while also helping flexibility and toning your body 💪 .
