Got some walking in today. It was lovely outside. Windy, but the wind isn’t bad when it’s warm out. Breakfast: Same as always (what a surprise) Lunch: Salad with baby kale, baby arugula, baby spinach, cucumber, red onion, radish, celery, grape tomatoes, and a new dressing that will be up on the site tomorrow! Also added some dulse flakes and vinegar to boost the nutritional value. Raspberries too! Dinner: Raw veggies and hummus. One serving of Chickapea brand pasta, a pound of French cut green beans, 8 oz white mushrooms, and a tofu Alfredo sauce. Also added black cumin. It’s a true staple in our home. Recipe🌱 Dice & Saute: Med Onion 3 cloves Garlic 3 stalks Celery 1 med Carrot 1 Zuchini 2 c white or gold Potatoes Add: 2 14.5 oz cans Petite Diced Tomatoes 1 can cut green beans (drain) 1 can cannellini beans (drain/rinse) 1 can red kidney beans (drain/rinse) 2 tbs Tomato Paste 8 c water Season: 2 tbs Better than Boullion 1 palmful Italian Herb blend 2 Bay Leaves Red & Black pepper to taste Simmer til potatoes are just soft. Cauliflower Alfredo & Steamed Spinach 1 onion 6 cloves garlic 1 head of cauliflower 1 1/2 c veg broth 1 oz cashews ———————— 2 c soy milk 1/4 c nooch 1 tsp corn starch or tapioca starch 1 tbs white miso (aka sweet aka mellow) Salt, Pepper, Oregano, red pepper flakes to taste Saute then simmer everything above the line for abt 15 mins. Transfer to blender with everything below the line and blend til smooth. Serve with steamed or sauteed spinach. So nutritious you can go ahead and top it off with extra sauce! Brown Rice, Spinach, French Lentils, Roasted Root Veggies and a dollop of Skhug French lentils are smaller and hold their shape and bite after cooking. Water sauté an onion, 4 cloves of rough chopped garlic and 1 diced med carrot before adding 2 c dry lentils and 6 c water or broth plus 3 bay leaves & 1 tsp dry thyme. Bring to a boil, then simmer till all or most of the liquid is absorbed. About 30 mins. Salt to taste. Quinoa & Lentil Tacos Another staple weeknight/anytime meal. These are so incredibly delicious & come together in no time with minimal ingredients. Lower the calorie density by toasting up oil-free corn tortillas. 1/2 onion sauteed 1 c quinoa 2 c water or low sodium broth 1/2 c salsa 1 can lentils drained and rinsed (or 1 1-1 1/2 c leftover cooked lentils) Taco seasoning to taste (I use abt 1 1/2 tbs Spice Lab taco seasoning) 2 tbs nooch Sauté the onion, add the quinoa and toast. Add broth & salsa. Bring your a boil, then simmer til water is absorbed. In a bowl, combine w lentils and rest of the ingredients. Spread on a lined baking sheet and bake for 30 mins at 375, turning once half way through. I served over basmati rice that I made with the broccoli soup last night. Soba Noodle Soup w Spinach & Mushrooms Broth: 2 c water 1 tsp low sodium Tamari 1/2 tsp white miso 1/2 tsp mushroom soup base (Better than Boullion) 1/2 tsp fresh grated ginger 1/2 -1 tsp rice vinegar 1 tsp Sambal (more to taste) I cube large button mushrooms and sauté them in the tamari. Potato Bake w Tofu & Spinach Inspired by a bag of lunchbox peppers that were getting soft… -Pre cook 4 med potatoes (microwave) -Slice & saute Onions, Peppers, Mushrooms for about 5 mins -Season with S & P, Garlic, Italian Herbs -add 1 c White Wine & 1 c Broth, bring to a simmer - cube potatoes & place in baking dish -pour veggie mixture over potatoes -cover and bake at 400 for 40 mins -uncover to cook off any remaining liquid ; 5ish mins ——— Italian Herb Tofu -press and pat dry 1 block extra firm tofu -marinate in: 2 tbs low sodium soy sauce, 2 tbs broth, 1 tbs olive oil, 1 tbs white wine vinegar, 1 tbs maple syrup, garlic powder & Italian herbs to taste. -when most of the liquid is absorbed, toss in some nooch to coat - bake on silpat or parchment lined baking sheet 400 for 30, flipping half way through. Build the bowl: base of fresh spinach, top with potatoes & tofu, dollop of hummus, sprinkle with nooch. Spicy Curried Butternut Squash Soup This light version uses white beans & coconut extract to achieve a creamy, SE Asian vibe without the added fat of coconut milk. Sautéed an onion and 1 c of match stick carrots in water. Added cubed butternut squash (fresh) and 1 can cannellini beans (drained & rinsed). Covered with water and broth. And brought to a boil. Minestrone Soup Dice & sauté onion, 4 cloves garlic, 2 stalks celery, 2 carrots & 1 med zucchini. Dice 1-2 c white or yellow potatoes. Open 1 can diced tomatoes. Drain & rinse 1 can cut green beans, 1 can cannellini & 1 can kidney beans. Add all of these ingredients to the sauté. Add 1/4 c tomato paste & 1 heaping tbs Better than Boullion vegetable base to pot and stir to coat veggies. Cover with 6-8 c water. Season with Italian seasoning herb mix and 1 bay leaf. Simmer til potatoes are soft. Option to cook pasta in soup or separately (my preference). Salt, pepper and red pepper flakes to taste. The water, fiber and starch in this soup will fill you up and keep you fueled for hours. Lemon Blueberry Steel Cut Oats Made my oats in the instant pot (2:5 ratio, using 4 c water & 1 c soy milk). Added a pinch of salt and a dash of cinnamon. Porridge setting. Dressed my serving with blueberries, a sprinkling of lemon juice & some maple syrup. Delish! Storing the remaining cooked oats in jars a la Overnight Oats to enjoy over the weekend. Roasted Poblano Potato Soup This is based on a fabulous @plantifulkiki recipe from her book Plantifully Lean. I am a maximalist when it comes to veggies, so I added some celery, pickled jalapeños with brine, mushrooms, cannellini beans, and spinach at the end. Plus the garnishes. I also use no-chicken broth & season with cumin, chili powder & oregano to taste. Hi, this is my new health account where I'll share about health and nutrition topics, and my journey towards healing on a fruitbased lifestyle. I'll not post fruitbased related topics on my old account anymore. My story: After almost a whole life of various health symptoms, which I was convinced was simply normal, I stumbled upon a Raw Fruitarian group on FB in early 2019. At that time, my health had reached rock bottom; Except for all the health issues I had since childhood, such as IBS, severe prediabetic symptoms, fibromyalgia-like pain on muscles and bones, bad knees, blepharitis and dry eyes, constant yeast infections and UTI:s etc.. .. ON TOP of that, during 2017-2019 my body also started to "create" sinusitis everytime I caught a cold (every other month), as well as deeper muscles and bone pain. Sinusitis is similar to migranes and all the muscles on face, cheeks qnd forehead are in pain. I had quit dairy and most processed foods between 2012-2015(dairy was one big contributor to my problems, like IBS, colds,), and then reintroducing it in 2015 again 🙈 big mistake. But we're here to learn aren't we? By 2018, my body felt so swollen, I was choking of all the mucus qnd in early 2018 I had one of the worst colds and sinusitis of my life. I couldn't find peace, I couldn't even lay down and relax bc of the pain. That's when I started to learn about face lymph massage, and could feel all the knots and blockages across the forehead, the eyebrows, between the eyes. All in all, lymph and energy were not flowing. Lymph massage helped aliviate the pain. Now, 3,5 years after going fruitbased, I haven't had a single cold except once in February 2022 that lasted like 2-3 days, and, the most important part, WITHOUT sinusitis. I haven't experience that horrific pain anymore, I left that behind. Although I still feel blockages and swollen lymph when doing lymph massage, but I assume it's a sign it's started to loosen up after all the fruit water ingested. Also, my IBS, prediabetic symptoms, UTIs, yeast infections are all gone. Symptoms can come back if I ingest something that my body doesn't tolerate , like bread. Continued in comments

What I eat in a day, December I’ve been eating melon all day recently, it tastes so sweet and delicious! After melon I’ll usually make a date drink with mixed frozen berries, it hits the spot every time! Maybe more melon after this.. And for dinner a really big salad, I’m trying to eat a head of iceberg a day :) When I see the cooked food my family eats I want to eat it and I think why am I making my life difficult my eating so simply and mostly raw?! And so I eat more melon or make a date drink and I remember just how darn good fruit tastes!! And how great it makes me feel.
