One of our longstanding Associate Artists, Stephanie is a spellbinding performer and a favourite both with audiences and critics. This year she takes on the title role in our dynamic new version of the Charlotte Bronte classic “Jane Eyre”, outdoors, and then follows that up playing Isabella in Shakespeare’s powerful and timely drama, “Measure for Measure”, in the Kibble Palace. 50 years ago John Macleod and I stepped through the doors of the Mackintosh Building to dare to become architects. Privileged to enjoy our first two years in the studio above the now burnt out old library . So sad to see the art school all wrapped up like a poor man’s Christo - oddly matching the bland shiny textures of a reclad Reid Building opposite. The security man confided that it would 2032 before reopening .
