Aber irgendwann muss es einen Zeitpunkt geben, wo wir einfach machen sollten. Wir haben nur diese eine Chance im Leben und sollten sie nutzen. Unsere Wünsche, soweit es geht, zu erfüllen. Sowas ist natürlich nicht easy und kostet einiges an Selbstüberwindung. Aber wenn man an die Dinge glaubt und festhält, ist es die Mühe werd. Wichtig: sich niemals selbst verlieren und sich von anderen reinreden lassen. Denn ich bin, der festen Überzeugung, wenn man etwas wirklich will und fest daran arbeitet, man es am Ende auch bekommen wird. Wer nicht wagt, der nicht gewinnt, wie man so schön sagt. 🏕️🌸 Happy Monday everyone! I know I’ve been a little scarce lately but I have had so many things come up this month that my reading has decreased and I have not met my goals for the month. Oh well! 🤣🤷♀️. I may have to catch up on my Genre Challenge next month or just skip over April. For reading, I am currently reading The Troop by Nick Cutter and oh my goodness! So gross! But it is like one of those gross things you just can’t look away from. I’m hoping to finish that off before tomorrow, but I’m also not stressing. For the pictures! Those were taken in Garner State Park in Texas. We just went and did a great little escape trip and camped and hung out at the Frio River. Worth it! I’m hoping to get back into things soon but in reality, school is about to be out and I’m not sure how much I will post in the next few months but I’m still here and will try. I’m actually trying to make a goal of less tablet/screen time this summer so, we might knock out the Book Cart books instead. Puh, dass ist echt anstrengend, aber was will man machen, dass Wetter kann eben nicht beeinflussen. Dennoch, freue ich mich auf die kommenden Tage: Es soll endlich wieder warm werden. Am meisten freue ich mich, aber auf den schönen klaren Himmel. Ich habe es schon als Kind geliebt in den Himmel zu schauen und nachzudenken. Es hat etwas beruhigendes für mich. Außerdem, gibt mir diese kleine Erfahrung immer das Gefühl, dankbar zu sein. Den oft machen wir uns Gedanken über das, was wir haben wollen und/oder nicht haben können, anstatt einfach dankbar zu sein für dass, was man hat. Irgendwie holt mich diese kleine Metapher auf den Boden der Tatsachen zurück, haha. “i swear maevy, potty training isn’t usually this difficult.” while we took TONS of pics during my two week trip, i needed to make a post just for miss maevis. i have so far watched her grow up both inside her mommas belly and outside from afar, but finally, i was able to meet her in all her absolutely horrible glory (she is two after all 🤣). those of you who know me, know i am not very “Pro” children. in fact, normally the complete opposite, but this little lady stole my heart (still 2nd place tho cause first will always go to my little cashew ☺️ @tripodn210). obviously she’s @missragamuffin’s baby so she’s automatically going to be better than most, but she’s already her own little person and thriving. despite the terrible twos, she still has a very special place in my heart and i’m just so glad i finally got to meet her 💛
