Aceptar era una palabra que me generaba sentimientos encontrados. Por un lado lo asociaba a resignarme, en donde no había cosa que pudiera hacer para cambiarlo. Por el otro lado, sentía que era confiar en que eso que estaba pasando era lo mejor que podía pasar. En mis cabilaciones me doy cuenta que como todo, siempre hay más de una forma de ver las cosas. Y que en efecto en cierta medida, ACEPTAR requiere un poco de rendirse (surrender) y de confiar. Y me di cuenta que aceptar tiene que ver también con el control que quiero tener de lo que me pasa y no me pasa. Acepto que no puedo tener control de lo que otros hagan, sientan, quieran, busquen, pero si de lo que yo quiero, siento, haga, diga, piense y busque. Acepto que las cosas que me pasan, no son casualidad, que yo soy el efecto que las causa y en esta medida necesito responsabilizarme. Empecé a sentir un gusto por la aceptación en la medida que me di cuenta que lo que no me gustaba de ella era que sentía que no podía hacer nada, pero si me responsabilizaba de lo que sí puedo cambiar y confiaba en que eso que no, era porque tenía que pasar para aprender algo que me haría crecer, entonces había algo más para mirar ahí. Beach bound with some healthy grub. 🌊🌞 What I packed. 2 sweet potatoes in thermos Cucumber salad (no oil added) 3 sliced oranges Pineapple and cantaloupe Grapes 3 apples Package of dates *Swiss chard wraps with avocado, onion, carrots, sprouts and peppers. *Tahini dip for wraps (tahini, raw honey, garlic, Himalayan salt, ginger and filtered water) *Tons of coconut water and waters *PB and J sandwiches for my loves *veggie chips with coconut oil *Grain free granola with pumpkin seeds, blueberries, pecans and almonds I prepped yesterday and packed everything so there was little to do this morning. We're about 30 minutes away from VA Beach to one of our favorite spots on a military base that's not too crowded.
