A brides elope turned a sorrowful road, killed by the man who promised her hope. Still yearning for love even though she is dead finding a Victorian man still breathing instead. Confused and astonished Victor sees this bride, Emily may be dead but her heart is alive. Through troubles and tricks he convinces back to the living to see his real love Victoria was waiting. Even with the troubles they had, a man was in waiting, to continue his deeds, evil plots worth singing. Foiled he was though sacrifices were made. Emily saw the real truth their love was tendered in flame. With goodbyes in her heart and a flutter of her eyes Emily moved on, turned into butterflies. Thus the story concludes a folklore of sorts. Pardon the lateness but here’s a movie update for like the last month or so I guess. I’ve finished up my Scream Factory Chucky/Child’s Play set which was a nice nail in the coffin. I decided to pick up Poor Things and Iron Claw because I’ve heard great things about both and I was not disappointed by either in very different ways. When Evil Lurks was very good imo very haunting and creepy. Event Horizon and Guardians of the Galaxy were both steelbooks upgrades that I just wanted. Rounding out are some films I haven’t checked out yet, being It’s a Wonderful Knife, Werewolves With, and the latest Children of the Corn thing. Overall I’m happy with what I got however, the fun of going to a store and picking out movies has drastically diminished for me. The majority of these were bought online and it’s unfortunate that an aspect of collecting that I’ve done for 10+ years has now been shelved. It’s okay though I still enjoy the hunt it’s just online now so it is what it is. We’ve been shown in the past in teases by directors connecting universes together like in Bride of Chucky and of course a full blown crossover with Freddy Vs Jason. I’d like to say it’s possible with crystal lake having cabins in the woods who’s to say she didn’t stumble onto the property and read a passage in an attempt to revive her son. Finding she would need sacrifices to do so and begun killing everyone who set foot on the camp site. Gotta admit it makes sense and explains why Jason is so unkillable. The grey flat stack. Admittedly I feel like I struggled a bit with this one, not finding the shades of grey I truly envisioned but that’s life and much like it we must roll with the punches and take opportunities that arrive with gusto and no fear. You might feel stuck like I was but never accept defeat in those moments. Acknowledge it, but never allow it to conquer you and understanding that it’s a learning process and that experience will now grant you a higher level of meaning and purpose. In that you’ll be more confident once faced with similar or greater challenges. In my amateur CoD days I used the mantra “losing is learning” and I’ve used it daily ever since. If it has been helpful to me I hope it does the same for you.
