Eleştirdiğim kısmı ise setin içinde sadece Ju-On (2002) filmi 4K UHD formatında. The Curse 1,2 ve Ju-On white Ghost/Black Ghost filmlerinin neden 4K UHD yapılmadığını anlıyorum. Hem negatifleri uymuyor hem de zaten White/Black ghost filmleri cidden 4K izlemeye değer filmler değil. Yalnız Ju-On 2 4K UHD yapılıp en azından seri halinde pakete konabilirdi diye düşünüyorum. Ju-On 4K UHD formatına geçicek olursak Upscaled bir 4K UHD olduğu için keskinlik olarak istediğim hissiyatı verememiş olsa da HDR sayesinde karanlık ve aydınlık sahnelerin, gölgelerin yoğun olduğu sahnelerin çok gerçekçi ve iyi göründüğünü düşünüyorum. Monday Daydreaming Week 60! As Spielberg month comes to a close I decided to pick another one for this week’s daydream. This week is The Sugarland Express! I really enjoyed this film and I think it deserves a little more attention. I think this could greatly benefit from a new restoration, it has great scenery and cinematography throughout. I don’t think it would benefit all that much from an audio upgrade but wouldn’t complain if it got one. The rights for this film are owned by @universalpictures so hopefully they can give us an upgrade like they did for Duel, but if they don’t want to I think @criterioncollection would be great for it. Correct me if I am wrong but don’t think Steven Spielberg has a film in the collection and although it’s not his best film I think it would fit pretty well in the collection as a lesser known early title from the now legendary director. After “The BFG” 2016, Spielberg did “The Post” 2017. I again don’t own it so won’t be watching it this time around but I do really want to check it out if I can get my hands on the out of print 4k lol. The next year in 2018 Spielberg released “Ready Player One”. Another I am yet to see, when it came out I just never had interest in watching it and still haven’t. One day I will pull the trigger on the 4K and give it a shot. Next up on my watchlist is Spielberg’s take on the classic “West Side Story”. I have never seen either this or the original but always wanted to. After “Kingdom of The Crystal Skull” 2008, he directed his first animated film “The Adventures of Tintin” 2011. I actually really enjoy this one but again I will be coming back to rewatch it once I buy it. That same year he also directed a film called “War Horse” 2011. I have never seen it but I will also not be watching it for the same reasons as the others. In 2012 he directed a film about Abraham Lincoln called “Lincoln”. Another I haven’t seen but won’t be watching. His next film was “Bridge of Spies” 2015. I believe I have seen pieces of this one but not the whole thing and yet another I will unfortunately not be watching. What brings me to the next film I will be watching 2016s, “The BFG”. John Carpenter’s The Thing. The ultimate in alien terror. The most iconic film of all time and by far one of my favorites. When it comes to this franchise, I’m always looking for what’s new to come from posters to collectibles. Anything that has to do with this film I’m all in. I don’t know anything this entry in his filmography and will be skipping it as I don’t own it and is not in streaming. That brings me to Spielberg’s last entry as director in this classic franchise, “Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of The Crystal Skill” 2008. I can’t lie, I actually enjoy this entry more than most.
