PENFIELD PARK TRAIN RIDES: OPEN DAY, SUNDAY 28TH APRIL Come on out to Penfield Park this Sunday, the 28th of April from 12 noon until 4 p.m. at Woomera Avenue, Edinburgh, S.A. and see our take on things with LIV Golf and the Crows versus Power Showdown as you ride the trains around our park. It's also the last chance to get the kids (and you!) out of the house so the family can get some exercise, fresh air and enjoyment on the last day of school holidays. The weather is expected to be a clear sunny 23 degrees. We’ve also scheduled to have a few alternative trains running – as well as our usual compliment of regular services. The club entry fee is $12 single; $40 for a family of up to five people (children under 3 years no charge), which includes unlimited train rides. This price includes all of the club’s attractions. GOOD CHAOS . As I'm sitting here on the beach watching 4 boys play and one brewing in my belly I sometimes wonder will it ever get easier. But it probably won't. So how can we learn to live with the chaos. They say "Boys Will Be Boys" but what does it mean. I found heaps of explanations. And I love the following; boys will be boys perfectly encapsulates the notion that boys have often been associated with being mischievous, rowdy, or even reckless. However, it also emphasizes a crucial aspect of their nature that is oftentimes overlooked - their capacity for compassion, sensitivity, and kindness. I’ve been working on what I like to call my ‘freezer stash’. This is how I form my weekly meal prep. Sometimes I don’t have the time to prep everything all at once on a weekend, so I rely on having a good stash of things to draw upon in conjunction with some freshly made meals. For example here is this weeks meal prep. Half of it was pulled from my freezer stash and the other half was made fresh so it all only took about 1.5 hours on a Sunday to organise. For those that missed out (or if you’d like to come again!) we’re having another Open Day this Wednesday the 24th between 11.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. for some more school holiday fun. We’re located at Woomera Avenue, Edinburgh, S.A. PLEASE NOTE THAT COVERED SHOES MUST BE WORN FOR TRAIN RIDES. Thongs, open sandals and open-toed footwear aren’t allowed, due to safety regulations. The club entry fee is $12 single; $40 for a family of up to five people (children under 3 years no charge), which includes unlimited train rides. This price includes all of the club’s attractions. After having some fun on the trains, check out the indoor model and outdoor garden railways, and watch miniature trucks and excavators in the newly named "Penfield Quarry".
