Sending love to my body, mind & soul ๐ซ Ivโe touched on this topic plenty before on my insta; making, creating and prioritising time for your self care within the chaos of life is often so difficult. I HATE working out with the children at home. Now to be clear, I donโt hate my children ๐ I just find it actually STRESSFUL to exercise in any form due to the multiple distractions they cause. I could list all the interruptions I had during my 45min stretch but I can feel my blood pressure rising just thinking about them. BUT, overall, I always feel better mentally knowing Iโve prioritised some time just for myself and that makes me feel awesome mentally as well as physically. 45mins of Les Mills at home Stretch has given me a boost today. I need to do this more often and Iโm hoping my mojo for exercise will build on what Iโve done this morning and eventually come back to me. Do you work out at home or do you need to go out somewhere? To the gym? A gym class? Out with a friend to exercise together? I used to need to have a tidy house, workout gear on, hair tidy, carpet hoovered, dog walked etc before I could exercise but once I let go of these (diversions?)
