Libro leído: "La Matriarca" Autor: Pablo Rivero Mi primera incursión a la obra de Pablo Rivero ha resultado muy satisfactoria. He empezado leyendo su último libro publicado y me ha gustado mucho. Es un thriller que te engancha desde el comienzo, con capítulos cortos, y con un ritmo muy agil, manteniendo una intriga constante durante todo su desarrollo. Después todo se precipita y tiene un desenlace trepidante que te deja con la boca abierta, el autor echa el resto y se luce de pleno porque el final es realmente sorprendente. Nada, absolutamente nada, es lo que parece. Valoro enormemente la encarnecida crítica social que hace respecto al trato vejatorio, la situación, la exclusión social y la precariedad en la que viven muchos ancianos, tan real como la vida misma. También pone de manifiesto problemas de plena actualidad: inmigración, xenofobia, abusos, delincuencia, el mal uso de las redes sociales, etc. "La Matriarca" tiene todo lo que le pido a un thriller: que me atrape, me entretenga y me sorprenda, además con un plús añadido, que es de agradecer, la importante y necesaria denuncia social que tanta falta hace para remover conciencias. Al parecer todos los libros del autor tienen una parte importante de crítica social dependiendo del tema que traten. Sin duda seguiré leyendo a Pablo Rivero. | Empfehlung | 💜 Leslie Meilinger - Infernicus - Unter schwarzen Wolken 💜@leslie.meilinger Seit "Die Lehre des Sanzibor" gelesen war mir klar: Leslie Meilingers Bücher sind ab sofort ein Muss. Mir haben die Kurzgeschichten in "Infernicus- Unter schwarzen Wolken" sehr gut gefallen. Ich mochte die unterschiedlichen Perspektiven, die uns Schicksale und unheilvolle Begegnungen näher bringen. Gorrae spricht mich als Welt total an, ich möchte unbedingt mehr erfahren. Die düstere Stimmung und der subtile Humor sind genau mein Ding. Meine Lieblingsgeschichte ist "Mit den Schatten", ich liebe die Dynamik zwischen Vesna und Fynx. Ich habe dieses Buch übrigens gelesen und parallel gehört. Das Hörbuch hat mir auch sehr gut gefallen, der Sprecher Sebastian Waldemer ist toll. Absolute Empfehlung! Libro leido: "Un animal salvaje" Autor: Joël Dicker A pesar de todas las reseñas hechas no podía dejar de hacer la mía porque tenia que resaltar lo mucho que me ha gustado este magnífico libro. Joël Dicker en estado puro manteniendo su esencia. Un autor que ya demostró el gran escritor que es al escribir a los 26 años la magistral "La verdad sobre el caso Harry Quebert". Como fan de Dicker este libro no sólo ha cumplido con mis expectativas, las ha superado. Leer a Dicker es ir sobre seguro. Es acertar de pleno. "Un animal salvaje" es un thriller que te atrapa desde la primera página. Lo tiene todo, acción y suspenso a partes iguales y un ritmo vertiginoso. Este autor maneja el engaño y el suspense como nadie, es el rey de los giros inesperados, hace de ti lo que quiere porque logra siempre sorprenderte. Personajes que no son lo que a priori crees que son. Secretos, mentiras, intrigas, pasiones, envidias, etc... Nada ni nadie es lo que parece. Ensamblando pasado y presente de forma perfecta. Hace encaje de bolillos con las historias y los personajes y logra unir de forma magistral todas las piezas del puzzle. Lo he pasado genial leyendo esta adictiva y magnífica novela. Si, como yo, eres fan de Dicker no te la pierdas porque es altamente recomendable. Quise convertir una pantera en un perrito faldero. Ahora bien, los animales salvajes son como los hombres. Spoiler Free Review: ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️/5 I want to preface this by saying this is simply my opinion and I was really looking forward to reading this because there was a lot of hype around this book on Goodreads and social media… That being said, this book was just okay to me. Would not recommend to most, unless romance (very limited spice) is someone’s preferred genre. The good: * The romance was cute; sweet and simple * Relatively relaxed writing style * Had some very sweet and quotable moments and some thought provoking views on love and life The bad: * Felt very cliche to me (e.g. the main character is OBSESSED with painting, very much like Feyre from ACOTAR which I, along with most people, find insufferable) * I guessed the plot twists correctly within the first 50 pages * For me, it was too slow paced Have you read this book?
