When 1200 innocent people were slaughtered in Israel, there were no student protests. When thousands of Ukrainians were murdered by Russians and bombed on a daily basis, there were no protests by students. When the US invaded Afghanistan and killed thousands of civilians, there were no student protests. When Israel fights back against HAMAS terrorists who use civilians as human shields (the women and children you hear about getting killed even though Israel gives warning in advance….yeah, that’s a thing…where’s that in the news?), then they protest against Israel and all the Jewish people. Hamas started this war, not Israel. Hamas has been playing the victim and trying to promote their preferred narrative against Israel. Hamas does not want peace, they have only one goal…to destroy Israel and the Jewish people. Hamas claims to want Palestinian self governance, yet their actions have clearly gone against those words all of these years. They have continued to “victimize” themselves and go against peace. Look at history and the facts, not the dang media. According to history, Israel has tried to create peace with many agreements since 1947… tragically, all have failed. They even gave up land that was theirs according to the Old Testament of the Bible. Judaism, Christianity, and Islam all stem from the Old Testament of the Bible by the way. Judaism was even established in 2000 BCE, before Christianity and Islam. Israel still gave up land to try to bring peace. I do not advocate for war as it is never the solution, but when your people have been slaughtered in the past by the millions, you have to protect like your life depends on it. I am Pro Palestine AND Pro Israel. I am, however, against terrorist organizations like Hamas. Period. The Palestinian people have been living under an occupation that is unjust, and they deserve to be free. The people in Israel also deserve to live in peace and not fear for their lives. Do your dang research and know what the heck you’re protesting. We don’t need to spread hate and acts of terror. We need to stand together to figure out a fair solution.

Lamentable lo que se sigue viviendo en Medio Oriente y en el mundo 🥺. • Hace unos días se reporto la muerte de la joven Lara Sayegh de 18 años de edad ,quien murió mientras buscaba llegar a la frontera de Egipto. • Lara ,junto a su madre habían ahorrado 5 mil dólares para cruzar la frontera hacia un lugar más seguro. • Lara estaba refugiada en la Parroquia de la Sagrada Familia en Gaza ,desde el 7 de Octubre del 2023 ,ya que fueron desplazadas de su hogar por temas de la guerra. • En diciembre del 2023 , estando en el refugio recibe la noticia de que su padre había fallecido,esto producto de no poder recibir atención médica. • Ya que actualmente solo los que tienen dinero pueden recibir asistencia medica y cruzar la frontera. • Hace unos días Lara se encaminó junto a su madre para llegar a la frontera con Egipto ,más segun el reporte murió durante el trayecto. • Su hermano Khalil Sayegh informo de la triste partida de su hermana menor ,con la que tenía grandes metas y sueños por cumplir. • Su madre que si se pudo salvar ,se encuentra en estado de coma ,producto de todo lo que vivió y está pasando en este momento. • El cuerpo de Lara será enterrado en el mismo lugar donde falleció,ya que por temas de la guerra no se pueden trasladar cuerpos hacia ninguna iglesia. A CALL FOR PEACE Jóga nikdy není jen o ásanách (pozicích, do kterých se složíme), ale je naukou, která nám může pomoci udělat ze světa lepší místo k životu..proto tedy za mě.. PROČ TAKOVOU AKCI POŘÁDÁM? Protože už nedokážu neudělat vůbec nic. Protože se nedokážu nečinně dívat, do jakého světa roste můj syn. Protože jednou, až se mě zeptá, proč jste se alespoň nepokusili šířit myšlenku míru, tak nechci mlčet. Nemohu mlčet ani dnes. Odvracet lhostejně zrak je projevem ignorance, což je pravým opakem jógy. Přeji si pozitivně, laskavě, v míru a klidu sdílet s vámi, kde a jak může každý z nás začít. Co každý z nás může vnést do svých slov, činů a myšlenek, aby se nám tady všem lépe žilo. CO JE CÍLEM? Je to akce, která má inspirovat a motivovat ostatní k většímu míru v sobě. Je to akce, kde se každý může zastavit, zamyslet a rozhodnout, jak bude vystupovat ve svých vztazích, rodině a na veřejnosti. Kolik míru se nám podaří vnést do konverzace ve chvíli, kdy nejsme v názorové shodě. Kolik míru se nám podaří vnést tam, kde ho třeba aktuálně necítíme. Zkrátka zkusit vnést více míru do našeho každodenního života a pozorovat, co se změní. Vím, že to není moc, ale je to to málo, co můžu momentálně já sama za sebe udělat z pozice učitele jógy na mateřský. Mé přání je, aby každý z nás udělal alespoň to málo a v součtu pak každá ta kapka dala dohromady oceán.
