Day 7, Abingdon to Eynsham, 211/289km Blisters: 4. Today I met my lifetime hero’s, Shrek and Donkey as I made my way through Shrek’s swamp (to escape the extremely muddy path). There was a reason I didn’t see a single soul on the path this morning 🙈It honestly felt like a lifetime and I really struggled to keep my cool and see an end to the discomfort. BUT it did end and I plodded on with the rest of my day. Then I found Sammy the Sainsbury’s trolley and this put a massive smile on my dial.
