The village of Burnham Market, North Norfolk. Visible is the ancient watercourse, known as the Goose Beck, which dries out in summer and does not always flow in the winter. However, in recent years the heavy rains have seen it spring back into life. The Goose Beck flows across the village green and roads in the centre of this picturesque Norfolk village. Seafood, such as crabs, lobsters and many different types of fish, are very important to the village. Am working on the air ambulance for the next two days and since our #saintedbaby is suffering from jet lag at the moment, I have had to spend the night away from home to try and get some decent sleep … it isn’t panning out well. We did spend the day doing lots of fun things today and after saying a sorrowful goodbye to her as she headed home with the OH, I headed first to the gym and then out to the West Coast for sunset. It was another special one this evening and I’m hoping for similar for the next couple of nights so I can capture them during a post-shift run along the beach…we’ll see how that goes! - STONESFIELD - I’ve been loving the numerous recent posts featuring an abundance of floral Springtime scenes. After looking through my archives I stumbled across this shot which I took back in early May 2022 in the charming Oxfordshire & Cotswold settlement of Stonesfield.
