31 ✌🏼 30 was full of contentment, growth, + stillness. I found myself worried for many years about what this side of 30 might look like, whether or not I’d hit the big milestones I wanted to. As it turns out, there was no need to worry. It was one of the best years of my life. I like who I am more than I did in my 20s. I find myself able to simply ✨be✨ more easily than I could in young adulthood. I give less time & energy to that which does not provide joy & it does not bring me down to do so. I find enjoyment in the littler things, in slower days. I’ve found myself happier with less, forever trying to purge our home of non-necessities & refilling it with memories instead, including pictures printed & treasures from our travels. I’ve literally been to so many amazing places even just this year alone, seen so much wonder, & yet I still want to see more, more, more. I’m forever looking forward to where we’ll go next & feel so grateful to always have a trip planned. I’ve fostered friendships with people that fill my soul with gratitude, my found family, & I have the best husband that I simply can’t fathom life without. 🤍 30 began on the other side of the world, led me through several states + adventures, & has ended at home surrounded by my sweet pets & my love.
