I have been working to revitalize my curls. Mom buns and babies pulling has done a number on it. I found a new plopping head wrap (iykyk) that I am loving, and I'm really seeing some good change at the roots. But the bottom, which used to be where my curls where most vivid, is now so lifeless 😕 I normally use a lightweight spray gel in my hair. And have tried mouse too. But I'd love to hear some product recommendations from my curly hair friends that are easy to use (aka not time consuming), don't leave the hair looking crunchy, reduce frizz, and don't break the bank! 『花嫁かつらの講習会』 今こういったことできる人って、なかなかいないよな~なんて思いながら写真をみていまして。 昨日はなぜか、多くの方から色々とご連絡いただきました。その対応だけで結構バタバタと(笑) 今週の問い合わせでいうと… 日本髪と新日本髪の違いから日本髪を結いたいお話しや前髪飾りの事とかタボが割れた際の対応の仕方とか。講習の依頼等々。こういうひとつひとつも、よく考えてみると講義をさせてもらっている事が大きな機会です。よく教育なんて言われますが教え育ててもらっている感じです。 わたしの場合は、知識に関すること・技術に関するとと写真を撮るのでその視点からのお話しも。更にウエディング雑誌のモデルさんの撮影や結婚式や披露宴や和装前撮りに立ち会ったり。初めは花嫁等の着付け専門紙の撮影から立ち会えたことは私の財産だったり。 そういうかつら屋さんはなかなかいないと思います。 それら含めて、日本髪はやはりかつらがあったから江戸時代から、明治・大正・昭和・平成そして令和まで残ってきて。今、地髪結も一部ありますが、すき油をつけたり結う手間が大変だからかつらになったわけで。今の婚礼スタイルにはかつらがやはり合っているなと思うし、しげもりの花嫁かつらは自然な生え際とシルエットが好かれるポイントです。他社ではできない自然さかつらと長年、培ってきた技術力が強みです。 前に、他でかつらの講義を聞いたことありますがそれをどう現場で活かせるんだろうとこちらが恥ずかしくなったりして。より自分がちゃんとしているんだなと感じたり。 美容師さんだけでなく衣装屋さんやプロデュース会社さんやプランナーさんにもやってきて、伝える相手によっても内容は当然変えています。 この活動もできる限り、やっていきたいなと思います。ただ準備には時間が掛かるのでその際はお早めにお願いいたします。 凛とした花嫁姿 〜simple is best〜

The brief for this small garden included retaining the very deep thick concrete slab at the back and retaining as much lawn as possible while also introducing as much planting as possible. In addition, the mantelpiece was to be retained (swipe to see before photo), a small sitting area for a cafe table, a larger dining area and a fire pit area were needed and also a way to hide the compost bin. As ever, a simple solution was found. By changing the shape of the lawn, deeper planting beds have been made created as well as a little seating area. Circular stepping stone pavers, circular tables and a circular water bowl tie the small space together. The concrete slab will be paved and off the shelf timber planters and timber trellis will be set around it. The trellis and planters will be painted a pale green to tie the whole look together and of course will provide plenty of opportunity to introduce lots of planting to soften the boundaries and to hide the compost bin (hidden behind a trellis panel just out of view in the corner) Sometimes the brief doesn't feel like it's going to fit - until it does! First time for everything....in my case...I got "the knock".... ...but it's not as bad as getting the knock in the middle of the night....which this (very handsome) By-Law Officer COULD have done as he's seen me parked-up a few nights in a row in the same spot. He explained that they allow a night or two for people just passing through the area, but after that it's $150 fine. He was really nice about it. I explained that I'm just waiting on an oil change (which is happening Friday early morning but I'm going there the day before to find a boondocking spot nearby), so I just need to boondock in THIS area tonight, tomorrow night and Wednesday night....he said that's totally fine, and also recommended another area not far from here, so we'll mosey on over there later today.
