The satisfaction to be able to make an outfit, exactly as you pictured in your mind 🙌 when @katiafabrics kindly offered to send me fabrics for my sewing projects, I fell in love with those floral printed cotton poplin and crispy cotton fabrics and immediately imagined this very same outfit 💙💜🤍 a bit different from my usual beloved dark outfits but honestly, I couldn't resist to transform into a wild garlic fairy 🥰 I made the pattern for the apron/overdress, which is becoming my absolute favorite piece of clothing to wear (I already made 4 of them, and 3 are made from Katia Fabrics fabrics hehe 😄), and I can't wait to make more of them (me, obsessed ?). I couldn't recommend their fabrics more, the quality is *chef's kiss*, it was like sewing butter, so smooth and easy to use 💫 now that I'm sewing more often, I realise how important it is to select nice quality of fabrics, not only the clothes look better at the end but it makes every sewing step a lot easier ! Morning came so suddenly. The sun fought its way up behind grey clouds and painted the surface of the loch with rippling reflections. Mountains were standing still, like they have done for ages. In my mind I’m wondering what they have seen through all the centuries and past times. Who walked here before me and what happened to them? Oh how I wish these mountains and waters could talk and whisper all those secrets to my ear while grass is swishing in the wind like it has always done. I feel a raindrop on my face and I see how rain is making its way towards me above the mountains. It’s falling down like the most delicate veil of lace and when it finally reaches me, I let it soak my dress and hair. Wind starts to blow harder. As soon as the rain arrived, it was gone too and the sun peaks between floating clouds. Air is fresh and morning still young. I start walking and disappear into the moors where dry heather is waiting for its time to bloom. And when the day takes over, I watch how golden light is dancing between mountains and birds are flying high.
Our first of many trips to our new cabin in Maine; brought only what we needed; enjoyed a little more; made plans for making her our home away from home. Anyone else want their children to be with them always because🥺

About the people we surround ourselves with: I have a principle - don’t complain. If something goes wrong in my work or personal life, I look to see if I can solve it. If yes, then I silently begin to solve the problem (cry & then get back to business). If not, I either come from the other side, or let the flow solve it. But when I feel that the people I meet/communicate with often or endlessly complain without solving their problems, I stop communicating and move away, because we all absorb the energy that surrounds us. Of course, we all cry into our loved ones’ vests. But this is the maximum that I can allow myself, because I know that if you give complaints and negative energy to the world, it means staying in one place and not allowing solutions and opportunities to come into your life. Don’t think about it.

Ieri sono stata a un matrimonio e ho respirato l'amore sotto molte forme. C'era l'amore che salva le persone, quello che crea famiglie, quello che unisce amici da una vita intera. Tutti modi di amare meravigliosi. Ma ciò che più mi ha commossa è stato sentir parlare il padre della sposa del suo amore per le api, percepire la tenerezza con cui le alleva e vedere i suoi occhi brillare nel raccontare come produce il miele. Io so che quando parlo dei miei disegni mi brillano gli occhi allo stesso modo, perché in fondo anche quello per la propria vocazione è una forma di amore, forse addirittura fra le più pure🫀
{ lei è la dolcezza delicata e disarmante della primavera } 🌸 Parecchio tempo fa avevo iniziato una miniserie di 4 ragazze, ma l'unica ad essere mai stata realizzata è quella in rappresentanza dell'autunno. È ora di far nascere anche le altre 3 stagioni man mano che arriveranno, cominciando ovviamente dalla Primavera!
