Leverage sizes effect volume of liquidations as means positions require less movement to get liquidated. Exocharts Ex: Tracking Liquidity : Tools such as heat maps are one way of finding areas of high or low liquidity. They do this by calculating zones where positions become liquidated based off factors of the...exchange, leverage and position size used. Stop Hunting : Price may be drawn to areas of high liquidity in order for larger institutional trades to enter into large positions. Larger positions are filled at lower spread if they know there will be an increased demand for their order to become filled, reducing costs. Das stille Leid der Füchsin Vossy Das ist Vossy. Die Füchsin kam im Sommer 2022 im Alter von wenigen Wochen in die #Schliefenanlage des DTK #Westmünsterland. Hier lebt sie eingesperrt in einem Zwinger, den sie sich mit einem etwa gleichaltrigen Artgenossen teilt. In freier Wildbahn hätte Vossy mehrere Hundert Hektar zur Verfügung und selbst in Wildparks hätte sie mit 100 Quadratmetern und mehr ein deutlich größeres Gehege. Die WAZA (World Association of Zoos and Aquariums) fordert für Rotfüchse gar eine Gehegegröße von 300 m². #Vossy und ihr Artgenosse #Zorro hingegen müssen ihr Leben auf überschaubaren 40 m² verbringen. In einem erhöhten Zwingerteil ist Vossy auf oder hinter einem großen Holzstück zu entdecken. Das ist ihr Ruheplatz, hier schläft sie viel, hier hat sie einen guten Überblick. Schaut man sich diesen Teil des Zwingers an, sieht man nackten Beton. Als Gehegeboden wird Naturboden, Sand oder Rindenmulch gefordert, damit Füchse ihr natürliches Bedürfnis nach Graben, sowie ihren Erkundungsdrang ausleben können. Stark eingeschränkte Grabemöglichkeit hat sie allenfalls in einem anderen sehr kleinen Zwingerbereich, weil dort erkennbar Erdboden vorhanden ist. Zu sehen sind aber keine gegrabenen Löcher, wahrscheinlich ist der Boden so verdichtet, dass die #Füchse dennoch nicht graben können. On voit dans le regard de ce mouflon la perplexité et l'étonnement face à un buisson qui bouge. Ils n'ont absolument pas eu peur, mais il faut toujours rester à quatre pattes. Si l'on se lève, ils fuient. Il faudrait aussi que j'achète des genouillères parce que mes genoux étaient en sang. Mais ça en a valu la penne. I'm not one for animals but bears are actually quite huggable. I'm glad Free The Bears managed to rescue more than 125 bears, mostly orphaned cubs in Laos and now they're safe in the Luang Prabang Wildlife Sanctuary. They've also rescued endangered red pandas, intercepted after being smuggled from China into Laos. Reeën in Zeeland voorlopig veilig De provincie Zeeland heeft ontheffing verleend om vanaf 1 januari 2024 tot en met 31 december 2029 reeën te doden vanwege de verkeersveiligheid. De afgelopen jaren ging het jaarlijks om ongeveer 300 dieren. We hebben samen met Animal Rights hiertegen beroep aangetekend en bij de rechter gevraagd de ontheffing te schorsen. Er zijn andere maatregelen om de kans op aanrijdingen met reeën te beperken. Bovendien blijkt nergens uit dat het schieten van reeën op enige manier bijdraagt aan de verkeersveiligheid. According to Cowboy State Daily, a wolf in Wyoming 🇺🇸 reportedly suffered severe injuries after being struck by a snowmobile in the wilderness. Allegedly, the individual responsible further prolonged the animal’s suffering by taping its snout shut, transporting the injured wolf home, posing for pictures with the abused creature, taking it to a bar, and eventually killing it outside the establishment in Sublette County.💔🐺 Wyoming law permits what it calls “humane destruction” - which is outraging in itself - of certain animals. BUT THERE IS NO DOUBT that this wolf endured was not humane. 😡 Even other hunters have reportedly agreed that the circumstances under which this wolf was captured and killed were inhumane, according to Wyoming Public Radio. All this time, I thought I'd built Hervör Alvitr a safe enclosure when she could have left all along, she just chose not to. Now she's getting bored in there (and I don't blame her) so she occasionally, effortlessly, lifts the fence and walks out. Then she takes a stroll, picks a fight with Biggie if I'm not there to lead her away right away, and goes back inside. She's got no intention of leaving her home, she just wants more space. 🦌 SPERRZONEN GEGEN TIERSCHUTZ-KAMERAS 🎥❌ Mit dem Gatterjagdverbot 2017 wurde im Bgld. Jagdgesetz auch die Möglichkeit einer Sperrzone um Treibjagden „aus Sicherheitsgründen“ eingeführt. In Wahrheit dient sie dazu, Kameras abzuhalten. Um das Verbot der Gatterjagd und des Aussetzens von Zuchtvögeln für die Jagd im Burgenland zu erreichen, musste der VGT zahlreiche Treibjagden dokumentieren und die dortigen Tierquälereien an die Öffentlichkeit bringen. Das gefiel der Jägerschaft natürlich nicht. 💁 👎 Am 19. November 2023 hat ein Mitarbeiter des VGT eine öffentliche Straße, die in einer Sperrzone lag, mit einer Kamera betreten, um eine Treibjagd auf Hasen zu dokumentieren. Er erhielt jetzt eine Straferkenntnis. Dabei haben aber die Post, eine Fliesenlegerfirma, Anrainer und ein Radfahrer diese gesperrten Straßen ungehindert benutzen dürfen, nur Tierschützer:innen mit Kameras wurden angezeigt. ⛔️ 👉 Abgesehen davon reichen die Sperrzonen bis in bewohnte Straßen und sogar Wohnviertel hinein, weil man von dort aus noch das Treibjagdgebiet überblicken kann. Es ist aber laut § 97 des Burgenländischen Jagdgesetzes verboten, in der Nähe von Wohnvierteln zu jagen. Dieses Vorgehen der BH ist eindeutig gesetzwidrig und deshalb bringen wir diesen Fall nun vor das Landesverwaltungsgericht. 🧑⚖️ 💡 Das Volksbegehren für ein Bundes-Jagdgesetz will ein einheitliches Jagdgesetz für ganz Österreich erreichen. Denn im Moment sind die Jagdgesetze Ländersache. So könnten Verbesserungen schneller und flächendeckender umgesetzt werden!
